The Uttar Pradesh board exam result for class 10 and class 12 will release in April 2020. The results of Uttar Pradesh Class 10 & 12 will be announced on or before May 01, 2020. The exams for class 10 will begin from 18 February 2020 and will end on 3 March 2020. Also, the class 12 board examinations are scheduled to be held from 18 February 2020 and will go on till 6 March 2020. The evaluation of the answer sheets will commence in March.

Once the exam results are out, you can check the UP Board Class 10 & 12 results 2020 on http://upresults.nic.in/ , i.e. the official website of UP Board. You can check the list of UP Class 12 Toppers 2020 here.
Last year, almost 70% of students cleared UP Class 12 exams 2019. Compared to 2018, the pass percentage has been dropped by 2%. Once the evaluation process is done, answer sheets will be sent for double-checking at their regional offices.
UP Board Hikes Re-Evaluation/ Scrutiny Fee
The Uttar Pradesh board has hiked the fee for re-evaluation/ re-checking/ scrutiny of UP Class 10, 12 answer sheets. The scrutiny fee has been hiked by five times, and the candidate is required to pay Rs. 500 per subject if he/ she wants to apply for re-checking/ re-evaluation/ scrutiny of answer sheets. The hike in scrutiny fee is an apparent attempt to restrict non-serious examinees from applying for scrutiny of their class 10 and class 12 board exam answer sheets.

According to the sources, last year, around 6.45 lakh students skipped the exam on different days. The main reason behind such a steep downfall is the strict measures taken by the board to curb malpractice. The authorities installed CCTVs and had a strict security system at the evaluation centres to avoid any case of copying and ensure transparency.

Over the past few years, various cases related to cheating and copying during the UP board exams have been witnessed which was spoiling the sanctity of the examination. Therefore, UP board introduced strict measures to check the same and curb such practices. They will also seek the help of security forces so that education media does not create any hindrance in the evaluation process and the result is declared on time.
