Candidates should download and print their admit cards to carry them to the examination venue. Apart from the admit card, candidates also need to bring a few other essential documents to be allowed for the test.

Applicants must have the following documents with them before entering the examination hall:
Admit card is an essential document to show to the authorities to be permitted to sit for the examination. It should have relevant details like name, signature, roll number, date of birth, examination venue, time, date, duration, etc.
Applicants should also carry a scanned photograph of themselves as identity proof.
A scanned signature is also vital to show to the examiner.
Any government-issued identity proof like a voter card, Aadhar card, pan card, driving license, or passport must also be carried.

Candidates must follow the steps mentioned below to download the admit card for the UPSC Engineering Services (Preliminary) 2023 examination:
Step 1 : Go to UPSC’s official website.
Step 2 : Search and hit on the ‘E admit card Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2023’ link. A new page will open up.
Step 3 : On the new page, enter your registration number and roll number.
Step 4 : Click on ‘Submit’ to display your hall ticket.
Step 5 : Hit on ‘Download’ to download the admit card and take a print to show at the examination venue.
