The Commission is yet to declare the official release date of the UPSC ESE/IES Prelims 2023 Answer Key. However, candidates should know that the provisional answer keys are usually published within 15 days of the test. UPSC ESE/IES Prelims 2023 Answer Key
The UPSC ESE Prelims Answer Key 2023 contains the correct answers to all the questions asked in the examination. With the help of these, candidates can check their responses and accordingly calculate their marks ahead of the result. The UPSC Engineering Services (Preliminary) Exam 2023 was held offline for two papers combining 500 marks in total. Candidates were to answer 250 objective-type questions, of which 100 were from Paper 1 and the remaining 150 were asked from Paper 2. For each correct answer, 2 marks are rewarded to candidates and for each incorrect answer, - ⅓ marks are deducted.
It is to be noted that the Commission will first release the provisional answer keys on its official website – upsc.gov.in – so that candidates can challenge the answer keys in case of discrepancies. Once the answer key challenge window is closed, the final UPSC ESE Prelims Answer key 2023 will be published.
