West Bengal Madhyamik Grading System 2023: Students who have appeared for the WB Madhyamik Exam 2023 must be aware of the West Bengal Madhyamik Grading System 2023 to know about their obtainable grades. The students will attain divisions and grades as per their overall secured marks in the West Bengal Madhyamik board Exams 2023. It should be noted that all the students have to acquire at least 34%, i.e, 272 marks out of 800 marks in order to clear the West Bengal Madhyamik exam. Students must achieve 480 marks to secure first division. Those who will obtain 360 marks will be deemed to be passed in second division, while students will pass in third division with 272 marks. As per the WB Madhyamik routine 2023 released on January 18, the WB Madhyamik exams 2023 were conducted between February 23 and March 4, 2023.

West Bengal Madhyamik Grading System 2023

As per the West Bengal Madhyamik exam pattern 2023, a total of 90 marks are allotted for maximum number of subjects and the remaining 10 marks are for internal assessments. Refer to the table below to check the West Bengal Madhyamik Grading System 2023:

West Bengal Madhyamik 2023 Passing Marks

Students must be aware of the minimum passing marks for each subject as well as overall to know if they have qualified or not:
Passing Marks in Every Subject 25%
Minimum marks required for each oral exam 20%

The West Bengal Board provides its students with a facility to register for an online post-publication review within 15 days post declaration of the results. Students can apply for PPR/PPS in the theoretical papers only. The students who have failed the exam can also request for review provided they have achieved a grade C in two compulsory subjects, Language or Elective. Moreover, those who have failed in one or two subjects will have to appear for the West Bengal Madhyamik supplementary exam 2023.
