KCET Round 2 Counselling 2022:
Those candidates who are not satisfied with the current seat allocation as per the first round can choose to go for the second round of counselling. This will allow their allocation to be modified for the higher options as per their web options preference. However, there are certain criteria that decide the eligibility of the candidate for KCET round 2 counselling and it heavily depends on the choice made by the candidate after round 1 allotment.

The allotment for the first round of counselling is released on October 28 but the schedule for the second round of counselling has not yet been conveyed. Post the round 1 allotment, the candidate is given four choices which affect their KCET round 2 eligibility. These choices can be exercised from October 28 (6 PM onwards) to October 30 (until 4 PM) . These choices are as follows:
- Choice 1: The candidate is satisfied with the allotment and wishes to take admission.
- Choice 2: The candidate is satisfied with the allotment but wishes to go for betterment.
- Choice 3: The candidate is not satisfied with the allotment and wishes to go for betterment.
- Choice 3: The candidate wishes to exit the counselling process.
KCET Round 2 Counselling 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Based on the above-mentioned choices, the eligibility criteria for KCET counselling round 2 are as follows:
Choice 1:
Those who select Choice 1 are not eligible for KCET round 2 counselling. Such candidates must take admission at their allotted institute by downloading their admission letter and payment of fees between October 29 and November 02, until 4 PM. Choice 1 candidates are not eligible for any further counselling rounds.
Choice 2:
Candidates selecting Choice 2 are eligible for KCET round 2 counselling 2022. If selecting this option, the candidate will retain their current allocation and simultaneously go for betterment in Round 2. If a higher seat is allotted in round 2, the current allocation automatically stands cancelled.
Choice 3:
Choice 3 candidates are eligible for round 2 counselling but unlike Choice 2, candidates selecting Choice 3 will not retain their current allocation. They will only have an allocation if allotted in Round 2.
Choice 4:
As the candidate selecting Choice 4 wishes to exit the entire counselling process, such candidates are ineligible for KCET counselling 2022 round 2. Such candidates will not have any seats allotted to them and will remain ineligible for further counselling rounds.
