
JEE Main Final Answer Key 2025 Session 2: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has sparked confusion among students by abruptly removing the JEE Main Final Answer Key 2025 Session 2 from its official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, just a few hours after its release on April 17, 2025. The answer key was taken down around 9 PM, mere hours after its 6 PM release, leaving students who had calculated their scores in a state of uncertainty. As per the update on X, NTA will release JEE Main Final Answer Key Session 2 on April 18 at 2 PM.
The Final Answer Keys of JEE (Main) 2025 Session-II will be available for download on the JEE(Main) website by 2 PM today, i.e. on 18th April, 2025.

As per the expert analysis, NTA is likely to release a revised final answer key soon, due to the inaccuracies in the final key shared on April 17. Subject experts had a different list of questions expected to be dropped from JEE Main 2025 Provisional Key Session 2 which included 7 questions to be dropped and 2 questions where bonus marks should be given. But as NTA April 17 JEE Main final answer key, only 1 question was dropped from JEE Main Final Answer Key April 2025 while 2 questions had two acceptable answers. Although the result was initially expected to be out six hours after the final answer key release on April 17, the sudden removal has caused a delay. Students and parents are anxiously waiting for the revised answer key and result, now likely to be released on or by April 19, 2025.
Student assumptions suggest that NTA removed the answer key due to errors in the final answer key, where some questions were incorrectly marked as wrong despite being correct in the question paper. This move has sparked rage and fear among students, with many taking to social media to express their frustration and emailing to NTA helpdesk about the same.
Many students had calculated their scores and were hopeful of getting into top institutions like NITs, but the removal of the answer key has left them uncertain about their prospects. The delay and confusion caused by NTA's actions have added to the stress and anxiety of students already preparing for a crucial phase of their academic journey.
