Dear student,

PGDM in itself is a tag that will help you bag good jobs. But the specialisation you choose should be according to your strength and interest. For example, if you are good at HR or have a knack for marketing ideas, and you end up doing a PGDM in Finance, then surely, neither will you get a good job or even if you do, you will not be able to sustain yourself! So, assess and identify your strengths and then choose a PGDM specialisation accordingly.

Another thing, the specialisation is important, but what is more important is the institute that you are pursuing it from. There are more than 4000 management colleges in India at present, but only some of them have a good curriculum and infrastructure and obviously, a good industry connect. This is very important, because only a college with good industry connect will be able to get good companies to the campus at the time of placements. And if you are able to impress them, then your job graph will always point towards the sky!! Good luck :)

You will need to take MBA exams to get into most of the good MBA colleges in India. Undoubtedly, the Indian Institute of Managements are the best, but XLRI, Narsee Monjee, SP Jain, Praxis Business School, Jamnalal Bajaj, MICA etc. are some of the very reputed MBA/ PGDM colleges in India.

MBA exams in India that you may to take for admission to a top B School in India:
