Can we go out side from hostel? : We can go out side from the hostel for just roaming with friends and just for work

Yes definitely, hostellers are allowed to visit outside the campus but there are certain rules and regulations which a student needs to consider and follow. It is just same, when the child is at home and parents bind them with some rules to be followed which are for their own safety. Every parent invests their trust in the institute, for the safety of their ward, so it is the responsibility of the University to manage the student by imposing some rules. A student has to mark a biometric attendance while entering or exiting the hostel. Boys have more relaxations in relation to time duration compared to the girl. For example, Boys has to come back and mark their presence by 7 PM whereas Girls need to come back in the hostel by 6 PM. Security guards, cctv cameras all are for their security purpose. Dear Student You have to specify the college or the university hostels you are inquiring for . In LPU yes, you are very much allowed to move out of the university campus during the day time. However if you want to go out of the hostel at the nigh time. then you have to take the prior permission from the warden or have to take a leave from the hostel by submitting the permission of parents also.

Hi there, LPU does allow students to go out of the university campus but due permission has to be taken from warden. In case the students want to spend a night outside the hostel, parents are informed. This has been done for the security and safety of the students.
