Hi, LPU do offer M.A Psychology and the eligibility for the same is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor’s Degree (any discipline) or equivalent. It is mandatory to satisfy the eligibility criteria in order to take admission. If you have done Engineering then you can apply for the said course. The program seeks to enhance the understanding of complexity of human behavior with broad focus on Psychopathology, abnormal behaviour, health psychology, Positive psychology and Organizational Behavior etc. Psychologists are actively involved in studying and understanding mental processes, brain functions, and behavior. These two-year courses seek to provide the understanding and the answers to the complexity of human behavior with a broad focus on Psychological Testing, Psychopathology, Health Psychology, Positive Psychology, Organizational Behavior, etc. The eligibility for the is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelors Degree (any discipline) or equivalent. 5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates, Defence Personnel and their Dependents, Wards of Kashmiri Migrants is given by the university. The course seeks to create in students a better understanding of intrapersonal issues and interpersonal behavior. The student should Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the major theoretical perspectives and principles across various fields of psychology. The course aims at making the student apply critical and creative thinking, skeptical inquiry, and a scientific approach to mitigate problems related to different psychological issues and demonstrate counseling skills aimed at behavior modification. Since you have already completed a bachelor's in engineering, you are eligible for admission in master's programmes in Psychology.

However, colleges generally only consider candidates who have studied Psychology as a major subject in their bachelor's eligible for admission to M.Sc or MA programmes in Psychology.

There are not many colleges offering M.Sc in Psychology in Bangalore. You may also wish to check colleges offering MA / MSc in Psychology in India. Once you have shortlisted the potential college(s) where you wish to take admission, please go through the eligibility criteria for the concerned courses to find colleges that offer admission MA / MSc in Psychology courses to graduates from any stream.
