Hi Dear, Yes you can do it…! Virtually it will B.tech (LE) Although, i knew that it can be done but still i just checked it from the University website that you can do B.tech in CSE with previous qualification Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. While observing LPU for a while i observed that they are giant and a top notch institute now across the country. It seems that B.tech CSE in LPU is now equally good as in any IIT or NIT. I was reading some of their Academic features, In Fact, i found that LPU has even bigger now in comparisons to few younger IIT’s and NIT’s. Adhering to their Strict Eligibility criteria shows that now they are not going to compromise with the quality of Admissions Intake. Candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in Diploma engineering if he want to do B.tech (LE) in LPU. Anyways, if you have 60% marks in your diploma Engineering they go ahead to take Admission Online. It is very simple process through their website. Though you can also call them on their toll free number. Their Academic Counselor will guide you in continuation. I hope my answer will help you.

Dear Robin, i suggest you to go for B.TECH in mechanical engineering. There are various institutes but LPU is best for pursuing course. My cousin sister done her graduation from LPU and she got placed in Cognizant with handsome package. LPU has lateral entry for Diploma students with good scholarships. LPU is a premier university of country with top placements and world class infrastructure. the curriculum and placement of LPU is highly graded due to 700+ industry tie ups such as BOSCH, Jindal Steel, TATA motors, Maruti Suzuki, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, CISCO,SAP, Cognizant, Capgemini. The academic and cultural life of LPU is very good. Tanya Arora of LPU got placed in Microsoft with 42 LPA. The recent visit of PM Modi in the campus leads LPU for top research center of India. Overall LPU is a place where a student can build his career with different skills and interests. The scholarships provided by LPU helps students for their career without monetary constraints. There are many scholarships offered by LPU on your last degree percentile or LPUNEST ( a test to be taken by LPU after admission). I just heard in news that LPU has floated COVID-19 front-line scholarship for COVID survivors and their dependents to target every aspirant in this current scenario.
