I scored 50% in 12th. Will I get scholarship in LPU?

- KhushbuUpdated On June 23, 2025 01:06 PM

Yes, LPU is one of the best universities, offering multiple scholarship options based on various criteria such as LPUNEST scores, sports achievements, and financial need — not just board exam marks. For detailed and updated scholarship information, it's best to visit the official LPU website.

Yes, you may still get a scholarship at LPU through LPUNEST, even with 50% in 12th. Academic marks are one criterion, but scholarships are also offered based on entrance tests, sports, and other achievements.

You may not get scholarship and for eligibility, some of the program requires 60% in 12th. So for both the cases one needs to check the program details and eligibility criteria of same.

If you scored 50% in 12th, you may not be eligible for a merit-based scholarship at LPU based on board marks. However, you can still appear for the LPUNEST exam to qualify for scholarships. LPU also offers financial aid based on sports, cultural, and social service achievements. It's best to check the official LPU website for specific eligibility criteria.

With 50% in your Class 12 board exams, you may not meet the eligibility for LPU’s board-based merit scholarships, which usually require 80% or higher. However, you still have a strong opportunity through LPUNEST, the university’s entrance and scholarship exam. LPUNEST offers tuition fee waivers ranging from 10% to 70% based on your performance, regardless of board exam scores. To boost your chances, register early, prepare well, and aim for a high score. This pathway ensures that quality education remains accessible, even with modest board results. Excelling in LPUNEST can unlock valuable financial aid and help you move forward confidently with your academic journey at LPU.

With 50% in your Class 12 board exams, you may not qualify for LPU’s merit-based scholarships tied to board performance, which typically require 80% or higher. However, you still have a great opportunity through LPUNEST, the university’s entrance and scholarship test. LPUNEST rewards high scorers with tuition fee waivers ranging from 10% to 70%, regardless of board exam marks. To maximize your chances, register early, prepare thoroughly, and aim for a strong performance in the test. This alternative pathway makes quality education more accessible, even for students with modest board results. Excelling in LPUNEST can unlock valuable financial support and help you pursue your academic goals at LPU.

With 50 % in your Class 12 board exams, you don’t qualify for LPU’s merit-based scholarships that require a minimum of 80 %. However, there’s another route through LPUNEST, the university’s admission and scholarship test. Scholarships based on LPUNEST scores can range from a 10 % tuition waiver up to 70 %, especially if you apply early and perform strongly. To improve your chances, register for LPUNEST promptly, prepare thoroughly, and aim for a high score. Even with a 50% board score, excelling in the entrance test can earn you a valuable scholarship.

Dear reader, Lovely Professional University (LPU) offers various scholarships based on academic performance, entrance exam scores, and other criteria. While a score of 50% in 12th grade may limit your eligibility for substantial scholarships, you could still qualify for smaller financial assistance, potentially in the range of 20-30%. Additionally, if you belong to a low-income family or have other extenuating circumstances, you may be eligible for need-based scholarships or financial aid. Performance in entrance exams like LPUNEST can also influence your scholarship opportunities, so it’s advisable to prepare for and take this exam if possible. For specific details regarding your situation, contacting LPU's admissions office or checking their official scholarship calculator is recommended. I hope this information helps.

LPU offers scholarships to students who have achieved certain academic thresholds in their 10+2 examinations. The scholarships are tiered based on the percentage of marks scored. However, the minimum percentage required to be eligible for a scholarship at LPU is 80%. As you have scored 50% in your 12th grade, unfortunately, you would not qualify for a scholarship based on these criteria. You can apply for other scholarships which are based on other criteria such as on performance in the LPUNEST, as well as national level tests such as JEE Main, NEET, UCEED, CAT, MAT, GATE, GPAT, etc. LPU also offers scholarships for achievements in sports, cultural activities, R&D, co-curricular activities, social service, and bravery awards. So if you excel in any of these areas, you may still be eligible for a scholarship at LPU.
