What is the actual placement scenario of IMT-G?

The placement drive for the 2021-2023 batch at IMT Ghaziabad has been concluded recently. As per the official reports released by the institute, the placement record for the 2023 batch has surpassed all previous records. The average package recorded stood at Rs 17.35 lakh per annum, which is the maximum average package recorded till now. The median package for the IMT Ghaziabad placements stood at Rs 16 lakh per annum. This was followed by the highest domestic package of Rs 34 lakh per annum and the highest international package of Rs 65.6 lakh per annum. More than 150 companies participated in the placement drive of the institute out of which 77 firms were first time recruiters. When compared with the placement of 2022, there was a 14% increase in the average package offered. The majority placements were made in the Banking and Financial Services sector with a placement rate of 31.9%. The top recruiters included firms like Amazon, Accenture, Abbott, and, Deloitte, to name a few.
