Eligibility to Apply to Boston University

Boston University requires international applicants to satisfy certain eligibility criteria to be considered potential candidates. These are:

• Bachelors Degree Courses: Must have a high school degree from an accredited institution.

• Masters Degree Courses: Must have a bachelors degree from an accredited university.

• English Proficiency Requirement:

  • A minimum score of 84 is required for the TOEFL exam.

  • Students applying with IELTS band scores must show at least 6.5 band scores.

  • Duolingo English Test scores must be at least 110 or above.

• Medical Insurance: It is compulsory for international applicants to subscribe to a health insurance plan.
