Meet Our Founders
Ruchir is the Co-founder and CEO of CollegeDekho, leading the platform since 2015 to become India's largest college discovery, guidance and enrollment service. Coming from a small town in Uttar Pradesh, Ruchir had personally struggled to access information related to higher education and he always thought of solving this problem. He holds a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from VNIT Nagpur and an MBA from the Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad. Before founding CollegeDekho, he worked in leadership roles at Hindustan Times, Birlasoft Limited, IBM, and CSC Information Technology Services.
Rohit, Co-founder of CollegeDekho oversees the company's sales and revenue optimisation. He earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from VNIT Nagpur in 2001 but discovered his passion for sales while working at Videocon, where he handled the sales of electronics products. With 14 years of experience in leadership roles at Bharti Airtel, Indiatimes, Sify Technologies, and Reliance Communications, he was well-equipped to co-found CollegeDekho. His friendship with Ruchir from college made him eager to join the venture to improve the higher education journey for students. Under Rohit's guidance, CollegeDekho has partnered with over 2,000 colleges across India, doubling its revenue year over year.
Saurabh is a Co-founder at CollegeDekho and he's responsible for ensuring the company's seamless operations. After graduating from VNIT Nagpur in 2001, he worked at Cognizant in the US and Europe, focusing on telecom projects and building large teams for partner delivery. He also set up Volkswagen India's offshore development centre and social command centre in Pune. Known for his calm demeanour, Saurabh provides valuable insights on business and personal matters. At CollegeDekho, he leads the identification and matching of students with the right colleges, Under his leadership, the platform has guided over 1.20 crore students and ensured more than 2 lakh admissions.
