Bihar UGMAC NEET (MBBS) Admission 2024: Dates, Registration, Documents Required

Bihar UGMAC MBBS Counselling 2024 round 3 seat allotment results were announced on November 1, 2024, and students were able to download the seat allotment order till November 3, 2024. The document verification for the selected students will begin on November 2, 2024, and will end on November 3, 2024. The Round 3 Merit List was released on October 22, 2024, and the Round 3 registration process was conducted from October 15 to 19, 2024. The Round 2 seat allotment result was published on October 6, 2024. As per the official timetable, the Bihar NEET UG 2024 Counselling Round 2 admission to the allocated colleges was conducted till October 8, 2024. The Bihar UGMAC NEET Admission 2024 is ongoing on the official website. Selected students must accept seats and pay the fees within the deadlines. Students must submit documents on time and take admissions within deadlines.

Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2024 Merit List Link (Direct Link)

The counselling process is conducted in 3 to 4 rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3/Mop-up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round. Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has invited applications from NEET UG 2024 Exam qualified candidates for appearing in counselling of undergraduate medical admission counselling (UGMAC)- 2024. Candidates will be granted admission into government or private Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) , or Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) colleges or veterinary colleges.

Bihar MBBS Eligibility Criteria 2024

Education Qualification: Passing NEET 2024 and class 12 exams (with Physics, English, Biology, and Chemistry) is essential to be eligible for Bihar MBBS and BDS admissions. Check the details of qualifications below:

• General candidates must have secured 50% in class 12

• All other reserved category candidates must have secured 40% in class 12

Nativity/ Domicile Holders: Candidates must be permanent residents or domicile holders of Bihar to secure admission to Bihar medical colleges. Following are the exceptions to this rule who can claim seats under the 85% state quota:

• Wards with either of the parents who are refugees living in the state of Bihar

• Wards with either of the parents who are working for the state government of Bihar even if they are residents of other states

• Wards with either of the parents who work in a transferable job in either Bihar or Jharkhand

• Wards with either of the parents working for Public Sector Undertaking (PSUs) of the Government of India

• Wards with either of the parents working with the United Nations and are serving in Bihar

Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens to apply for Bihar MBBS and BDS admissions 2024.

Age: Candidates should be no less than 17 and no more than 25 years of age as of December 31, 2024.

Bihar MBBS Application Process 2024

Registration: Candidates have to register for Bihar MBBS and BDS admission by providing an email ID and valid contact number. The UGMAC ID is forwarded to the registered contact details for Bihar MBBS and BDS admissions 2024. This ID will be referred to throughout the admission process.

Filling Details: All NEET 2024 details must be filled correctly in the Bihar MBBS application form along with all the personal details. Candidates will also have to submit their signatures in either Hindi or English. Candidates must check each detail properly before submitting, as changes cannot be made after submission of each detail page.

Payment of Application Fees: Payment of application and counselling fees can either be done through challan that is to be deposited at any branch of Canara Bank with Rs. 60 bank charges. Candidates can also pay Bihar MBBS application fees online through net banking, debit card or credit card.

Bihar MBBS Selection Process 2024

Bihar MBBS and BDS selection process is conducted based on the NEET cut-off 2024. Candidates who have not appeared for the exam will not be eligible for the Bihar MBBS selection process 2023. All seats in Bihar medical colleges will be allocated based on the category of students, Bihar state ranks, and NEET score 2023. Bihar MBBS Merit List 2024

To access the Bihar MBBS/BDS merit list 2024, aspirants need to enter their UGMAC ID and date of birth, filled in the application form. The merit rank of Bihar MBBS 2024 has the list of UGMAC ID of eligible candidates, categories of aspirants, date and time of seat allotment, and scores obtained in NEET 2024. All seat allocation rounds from state to mop-up are conducted based on the Bihar MBBS and BDS merit. The merit list for Bihar MBBS admission will be released in July 2024. Till then, candidates can access previous year's merit list.

The seat allotment list for Bihar MBBS admission is released separately for each round of counselling session. Bihar MBBS seat allotment list consists of names, AIR rank, roll number and names of the allotment colleges. Merit list and seat allotment lists are two different lists. Merit list consists of names of students who are selected to partake in the counselling. On the other hand, seat allotment lists consists of names of the allotment colleges to the selected students. The seat allotment list for Round 1 Bihar MBBS admission is likely to be released in July 2024.

Bihar MBBS Counselling 2024

All candidates whose names will be mentioned in the Bihar merit list 2024 will be allocated counselling dates and venues for Bihar medical seat allocation. Candidates will have to be physically present and submit all necessary documents for verification along with a printout of the application form during the Bihar MBBS and BDS counselling process. Once the verification is complete, candidates can submit their choices for Bihar medical college seat allocation. Once the seats have been allocated, the list will be published and candidates will have to report at the allocated colleges.

Mop-up will be conducted only if seats remain vacant in Bihar medical colleges after the state counselling rounds.
