GBPUAT BSc Agriculture Eligibility 2025

Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology Pantnagar offers admissions to B.Sc and B.F.Sc courses at the UG level. For admission to GBPUAT Pantnagar Students have to appear for an entrance test. This entrance examination is conducted by the university itself. Those who fulfill the eligibility criteria need to apply for admission to the university. Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology Pantnagar admissions are confirmed after verification of documents and payment of fees. GBPUAT Pantnagar's admission process is given below.

Intermediate Agriculture/Science with Mathematics or Biology or equivalent examination and should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks for General Category and 47.5 % for reserved categories (OBC, SC & ST).

GBPUAT BSc Agriculture Admission Process 2025

The expected date for the release of the GBPUAT 2025 application process is April 2025. The expected last date to complete it is the last week of April 2025. The GBPUAT 2025 application correction window is activated for students to make any corrections in their details before the admit cards are released. The window is activated only once and thereafter no changes are allowed.

Students can apply for GBPUAT admissions 2025 by visiting the official website - gbpuat.ac.in.  Then fill out the form and submit the required documents for the GBPUAT application form 2025 process. The final step is to submit the application fee.

Steps to Fill the Application Form:

Registration:

• Enter your mobile number (Exclude the prefix "0" or "+91" before the mobile number).
• Provide your email address.
• Write your full name (Avoid using prefixes such as Mr./Ms./Shri./Dr.).
• Enter/select your date of birth in the format of dd/mm/yyyy, as stated in your High School Certificate.
• Choose the program you are applying for.
• Select your domicile state (Uttarakhand/Other).
• Enter the captcha code.

Login:

• Enter the registration number received on your registered email address.
• Input the password received to your email address.

Fill Application Form:

• Photograph: The photograph should be a recent colour passport-style picture. It should be taken against a light-coloured, preferably white background. Dimensions should be 200X230 pixels (preferred). The file size should be between 20kb and 50kb.
• Signature: Sign on white paper using a black/blue ink pen. Dimensions should be 140X60 pixels (preferred). The file size should be between 10kb and 20kb.
• Left-Hand Thumb Impression: Place the left-hand thumb impression on white paper. After scanning, ensure that the file size is not more than 20kb. Dimensions should be 140X60 pixels (preferred). The file size should be between 10kb and 20kb.

Submit the application fee:

Students can deposit the fee through the following method. UPI/Debit/Credit Card/Internet Banking: Applicants can pay the fee online using a debit card, credit card, or internet banking. It is advisable to keep a copy of the "Online Fee Receipt" for future reference.

Please Note:  Multiple registrations for the same course may result in cancellation or rejection of the candidature without any notice.

Print the confirmation page and keep it for record-keeping.

Students should be careful to provide accurate information while filling out the online application form. Once the application is submitted, it cannot be withdrawn, and the application fee will not be refunded under any circumstances. Additionally, the fee cannot be reserved for any future examination or selection process.

GBPUAT Admit Card 2025

GBPUAT Admit Card 2025 will tentatively be released in May 2025 last week or June 2025 First week. The GBPUAT admit card 2025 will be released on the official website. The Admit Card is released before the GBPUAT Exam 2025 , students who successfully fill out the application form can download the GBPUAT Admit Card 2025.

To download the GBPUAT 2025 Admit Card, students need to go to the university's official website. On the admissions home page, click the Admit Card link. Next, they need to enter their login information, including the registration number/ID and password. Check if all the information on the admit card is correct. Take a printout of the admit card.

Please take note that the Admit Card for the written test will not be mailed. Students are responsible for downloading their own admit cards from the website or portal.

GBPUAT BSc Agriculture Seats 2025

BSc (Hons) Agriculture has 130 UA Domicile seats and 26 payment seats. (Please note that for undergraduate programs, bonafide residents of Uttarakhand are eligible for normal as well as payment seats whereas other state candidates are eligible for payment seats only.)

However, 50% of payment seats for UG programs will be reserved for other state candidates. If other state candidates for payment seats are not available to fill up the seats, the same will be filled through bonafide residents of Uttarakhand and vice-versa. For payment seats, the candidates will have to pay the program fee in addition to the university routine fee.

GBPUAT BSc Agriculture Reservation 2025

The reservation policy of GBPUAT BSc Agriculture Admission 2025 is as follows:

(a) Vertical Reservations: The vertical reservation for the academic year 2025-2025 will be as under:

• OBC - 14%
• Scheduled Caste - 19%
• Scheduled Tribes - 04%

(b) Horizontal Reservations:  Out of reservation applicable to different categories, the horizontal reservation in Undergraduate programs only in these categories shall be as under:

• Children of retired/killed or disabled Defence Personnel of Uttarakhand 2 %
• Children of Freedom Fighters of Uttarakhand 2 %
• Physically Handicapped of Uttarakhand having disability 40% or above 3 %
• Women Candidates of Uttarakhand 30 % (Reservation shall be implemented as per G.O. of Uttarakhand State.)

Note: Only vertical reservations will be applied to the 50% payment seats in each UG programme that are allocated for bonafide Uttarakhand residents. There will be no horizontal reservations for payment seats. Seats earmarked for applicants from other states will be handled as general, with no reservation.

GBPUAT BSc Agriculture Counselling 2025

Once the GBPUAT 2025 results are announced online, the GBPUAT counselling 2025 is conducted in an online mode.  The counselling process of GBPUAT 2025 will tentatively begin in July 2025. The GBPUAT 2025 choice-filling process will begin along with that.

To register for the GBPUAT counselling 2025, all the qualifying candidates can register online and upload the required documents. Also, the candidates will have to pay INR 500/- as the counselling fee.

Candidates appearing for document verification at the university must bring the following documents for verification:

• Online Application Form
• Receipt of Application Fee
• Seat Allotment Letter
• Receipt of Counselling Fee
• Receipt of Program Fee
• Self-attested photocopies of the High School Certificate and marks sheet, along with the originals.
• Self-attested photocopies of the Intermediate Certificate and Marks-Sheet, along with the originals.
• Self-attested photocopies of marks sheet and Certificate of any other higher degree qualifications, along with the originals.
• Domicile Certificate of Uttarakhand State issued by the competent authority after 20 Nov. 2001.
• Character and Conduct Certificate in original from the Head of the Institution last attended

• Candidates who do not fulfill the eligibility conditions at the time of counselling and are not declared medically fit will not be granted admission.
• Once a candidate is admitted to a program based on merit and seat availability during counselling, they will not be allowed to change their program after counselling is completed.
