IIT Roorkee Latest Updates
IIT Roorkee has come out with GATE 2025 answer keys on gate2025.iitr.ac.in for February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025 tests. Objections can be lodged by March 1, 2025, at a charge of INR 500 per question. Announcements of the results will be made on March 19, 2025, and the scorecards would be downloadable without cost from March 28, 2025, to May 31, 2025.
IIT Roorkee, jointly with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), has instituted Standards Clubs in 14 departments, being the first IIT to initiate the activity. It helps to facilitate quality, safety, and standardization in engineering education through technical sessions, workshops, and interdisciplinary projects, enabling the students with skills that are needed by industries and also facilitating international standardization endeavors.
IIT Roorkee will upload the GATE 2025 response sheet today on gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The candidates who wrote the exam on Feb 1, 2, 15, and 16 can download the response sheet by choosing their subject paper. The final answer key and results will be released on March 19, 2025, upon considering objections.
IIT Roorkee's RuTAG convened a Training-cum-Workshop on Multi-Millet Dehusking Machine to boost efficiency in millet processing. NGOs, farmers, scientists, and industry experts attended to encourage sustainable farming technology. It reduces breakage of grain by minimizing, favorable for rural entrepreneurship. The applications of the machine were explained from the viewpoint of food security and nutrition and bringing innovation to the process of milling millet.
IIT JAM 2025 results will be declared on March 19, 2025 (tentatively) by IIT Madras. The results will be available on the JOAPS portal. The anticipated cut-off marks are subject to category and subject, such as Biotechnology (GEN - 42), Chemistry (GEN - 27), Mathematics (GEN - 13), and Physics (GEN - 20) among others. There are five rounds of seat allotment, fee submission, and document verification involved in the process. The approximate timeline is from June to July, and vacant seats will be managed by CSAB.
IIT Roorkee shall publish the provisional answer key to GATE 2025 in due course at its official webpage. It could be downloaded using the enrollment ID and password in the GOAPS portal. A fee of INR 500 per question should be paid against objections. Release of the final answer key following evaluation shall settle the GATE 2025 results.

IIT Roorkee admission 2025 is ongoing for UG and PG courses. Aspirants looking for admission to BTech courses, need to qualify for JEE Advanced. Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee’s Department of Management Studies (DOMS) has released the IIT Roorkee MBA placement report 2024-25 on the official website. This year, the average CTC offered to students has been increased from Rs 16.8 LPA to Rs 18.3 LPA. The institute has achieved a 100% placement record in various sectors namely Analytics, Consulting, BFSI, FMCG, ITES, Retail, Manufacturing and Logistics.
The number of companies visited during this placement season was 50+ corporates including new recruiters. DOMS has notified that this year, the median package offered was Rs 18.09 LPA, while the Indian Institute of Technology lowest package stood at Rs 11.6 LPA. IIT Roorkee highest package offered was Rs. 27.94 LPA.

IIT Roorkee Campus Facilities and Infrastructure
Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee is one of the country's oldest and largest technical institutes, with 21 academic departments, one academic centre, three centres of excellence, five academic service centres, and three supporting units.
The Institute is well-known for the services it offers its students and workers. These include top-of-the-line sports infrastructure such as Badminton, Tennis, Squash, and Basketball Courts; full-size competitive-grade pitches and grounds for sports such as Athletics, Football, Hockey, and Cricket; indoor games such as Table Tennis; and an Olympic-size swimming pool and a professional Gymnasium for weight lifting and general wellness. The IITR campus includes ten boys' and three girls' hostels and six hostels exclusively for married students to handle the growing number of students.
The institute has four fully furnished Guest Houses and one Visitors Hostel on campus for visiting dignitaries. The IIT Roorkee campus contains a main residential section set aside for the personnel and the most basic community services such as hospitals, banks, post offices, milk dairies, schools for children, and a community centre. IIT Roorkee Infrastructure
The Institute includes three campuses, a 365-acre Roorkee site, a 25-acre Saharanpur campus, and a 10-acre Greater Noida Extension Centre campus in Greater Noida. There are around 8,000 students at IIT Roorkee and hostels, clubs, sports facilities, and guest houses, including ten boys' hostels, three girls' hostels, one coed hostel, and six married couples hostels.
Students can take part in UG, PG, Alaknanda groups, and other activities within the Institute. The other significant IIT Roorkee facilities include a library that houses around 3.20 lakh documents, online databases, CD-ROMs, standards, audio-visual material, specifications, theses, and reports, among other things. Jaiprakash Gaur, the founder of the Jaypee Group, is a well-known IIT-Roorkee alumnus.
- Jaiprakash Gaur, a well-known Indian entrepreneur and the creator of the Jaypee Group, is one of IIT Roorkee's most well-known and successful alumni.
- In 1950, he earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Roorkee (now IIT Roorkee).

IIT Roorkee Courses
