The National Testing Agency has published the NIFT 2025 entrance exam admit card. The examination for this entrance is scheduled on February 9, 2025. Candidates can download their respective admit cards from the official website of the NTA by putting in their application number and date of birth. The admit card is to be carried along with a valid ID proof and an undertaking on the day of the exam.
The NTA has also issued the City Intimation Slip for NIFT 2025 on January 31, 2025 available at exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT, where candidates may download it through their application number and date of birth. City slip is released for informing a candidate about an allotted exam city, but he or she should not carry this on the exam day. Soon, the admit card for the NIFT 2025 is to be announced, and it will be on February 9, 2025.
The National Testing Agency will soon release the NIFT 2025 Admit Card and City Intimation Slip at exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT. The city intimation slip will be released initially, carrying the exam details of the city in which the candidate would be appearing. No changes will be accepted after the deadline. The NIFT 2025 exam is scheduled for February 9, 2025, with GAT (CBT mode) and CAT (PBT mode) tests.
The NIFT 2025 application window with a late fee of ₹5000 is open from January 7-9, 2025. The application fee is ₹3000. The application correction window will be available from January 10-12, 2025, according to the NTA schedule. NIFT 2025 last date for registration is today, January 6, 2025.Late registrations are open from January 7–9, 2025 with a late fee of ₹5,000. The exam scheduled on February 9, 2025 is for GAT (CBT) and CAT (PBT). Fees: ₹3,000 for General category and ₹1,500 for Reserved category. Corrections allowed on January 10–12, 2025. Last dates open for registering till February 28, 2025 for Artisan and PhD categories.
The NIFT 2025 seat matrix is released, which gives an idea of how many seats are allocated under different specializations for design courses. Candidates can download the PDF of the seat matrix specialization wise from the official website of NIFT. This would help the candidates understand how many seats are available under different categories and specializations.

Dear Student,
Though the merit list and final result of NIFT were released on June 25, 2020, the cut-off and counselling process is still pending for NIFT, Chennai. The premier institute of design has not announced the dates for the rest of the schedule yet. The NIFT cut-off for B.Des is most likely to be out in July/August and candidates can check it online.
To get a better grip of the B.Des admission through NIFT, take a look at seat matrix & reservation policy of NIFT. You are advised to be patient and keep visiting the NIFT cut-off and NIFT counselling process pages from time to time.
