National Institute of Fashion Technology has opened applications for the Bridge Programme for the academic year 2024-25, providing opportunities for students to enhance their fashion education.
The Bridge Programme aims to facilitate admission into creative programs for aspiring students, offering tailored courses to enhance skills and professional readiness.
The application form for NIFT 2025 will be uniform for all the courses, namely B.Des, M.Des, B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M. Applicants are given the option to select their choice of study program in the form itself. The detailed admission schedule for NIFT 2025 will accompany the application form to be published by the NTA.

It is an autonomous institute, accredited by AICTE and recognised by the Government of India. NIFT Delhi was granted statutory status in 2006 and is associated with the Ministry of Textiles. The institute has a dedicated training and placement cell which conducts pre-placement activities to make students job ready. NIFT Delhi cutoff is the minimum marks candidates need to score in NIFT entrance exam for admission. NIFT entrance exam is a computer-based test (CBT) and comprises two sections the General Ability Test (GAT) and the Creativity Ability Test (CAT). The students at the National Institute of Fashion Technology in Delhi are given access to a comprehensive and cutting-edge infrastructure that provides them with both theoretical and practical expertise. The institute is considered one of the modern iconic architecture of India. Out of all the NIFTs, the NIFT Delhi campus is the biggest. Library: It consists of a comprehensive selection of e-books and other digital resources, including reputable online databases. Books and publications about fashion studies and related fields can be found in the print collections. Audio-visual materials which are primarily used for teaching are also available.
Laboratories: The NIFT Delhi lab facilities include separate labs for different courses. These include a computer lab, photography lab, art lab and studio, pattern-making and draping lab, weaving lab, knitwear lab, leather design lab, dyeing and printing lab, technology lab and garment technology lab.
NIFT Resource Centre: It has an integrated collection of print and non-print materials for the study of international and contemporary Indian fashion. Indian regional costumes and designer apparel are displayed in RCs. International collections feature clothing from renowned global fashion businesses as well as costumes from other nations are present as well.
Hostels: All hostel buildings have 24-hour professional security, a doctor on call and a warden. Every hostel offers entertainment options like television and a selection of indoor and outdoor games. The NIFT Delhi hostel facilities are available only for girls. The rooms are twin-sharing and have a bed, a mattress, a cupboard, a desk and a chair. Washrooms are cleaned regularly and a washing machine is also provided. There are around 104 rooms in the hostel building. The NIFT Delhi hostel fees are Rs 45,000 per year.
Other Facilities: The college also offers a design studio, cafeteria, amphitheatre, medical centre, auditorium and WiFi access.
At the start of each academic year, National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi students submit their applications for the scholarship programme. The scholarship is awarded in accordance with the student's merit. The criteria for the NIFT Delhi scholarships must be met and are as follows:

NIFT Act 2006 published in the Gazette of India on 14th July, 2006 confers Statutory Status on the institute. The Act came into effect from 1st April, 2007. The President of India is the ‘Visitor’ of the institute under the Act. The Act empowers the institute to award Degrees and other distinctions. NIFT is the first premier institute in India to award its own Degrees in the field of fashion education.
