NIT Trichy Latest Updates
The registration for the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 is currently open, and it will close on February 25 (9 PM). Applications can be done through jeemain.nta.nic.in. Fee varies according to category; general male candidates in India have to pay ₹1,000. Documents required are: A passport-sized photo, signature, Class 10 mark sheet, and category certificate of the candidate.
The IIT JAM 2025 exam has been conducted with great success on February 2, 2025, in two shifts. The answer key might be published in the second week of February, and the final answer key will come out in the first week of March. Results are declared to be released on March 19, 2025. Exam difficulty varies subject-wise.
According to NTA trends, the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 result is expected by February 12, 2025. Applicants can check the scores and their qualifying status from the official portal, jeemain.nta.nic.in using their application number, password, and security pin. The cut-off and All India Rank are also declared in April with Session 2 result, which marks the eligibility to JEE Advanced 2025.
The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on February 1, 2025, and continued on February 2, 15, and 16, by IIT Roorkee. It is an online computer-based test for postgraduate admissions in engineering, technology, and sciences. The 3-hour exam contains 30 subjects with MCQs, MSQs, and NAT questions. Candidates are required to carry an admit card and valid ID, report 90 minutes before the exam, and follow guidelines for the exam day.
JEE Main 2025 session 2 registration will begin on January 31, 2025, at jeemain.nta.nic.in, with the last date being February 24, 2025. Candidates must upload the following documents: Class 10 certificate, photograph and signature, category certificate (if applicable), and PwD certificate (if applicable). The exam will be held from April 1 to 8, 2025.
Due to the Mahakumbh festival, which is likely to cause disruptions in travel, IIT Roorkee has shifted GATE 2025 exam centers from Prayagraj to Lucknow for the February 1 and 2 exams. The new centers have been allotted in various locations across Lucknow. Candidates need to download their admit cards using their enrollment ID and password to access updated details.
As it was a JEE Main 2025 Shift 1 examination held from 9 AM to 12 PM, the paper was rated as moderately to difficult. The paper comprised three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics each carrying 30 questions. Overall, Physics is moderate to difficult, Chemistry easy to moderate, and Mathematics is moderate. This means candidates can also use memory-based solutions to predict their expected score.

The national-level engineering entrance exam, JEE Main 2025, got off to a bad start asthe NTA had to postpone the exam for some students due to technical glitches on the first day. The Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Mains 2025) January 23 exam for BE, BTech paper 1 is underway for session 1.
The JEE Main 2025 admit card will be released for the January 28, 29, and 30 exams. Candidates can find the download link on the official website.
The first shift of the JEE Main 2025 exam has started. Live updates on the question paper, answer key, and paper analysis will be provided throughout the day.
NIT Trichy's Chemical Engineering Department hosted a six-day AICTE ATAL FDP, with 140 delegates from 14 states. The program featured 13 sessions led by specialists from India, Canada, and Spain on process modeling, simulation, and control. - The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the City Intimation Slip for JEE Main 2025 on its official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Applicants can download it by logging into the portal using their application number and date of birth. The slip will facilitate travel arrangements to reach the venue for the January 22–30, 2025 examination. Admit cards for the examination will be issued three days prior to the examination date.
About NIT Trichy
National Institute of Technology Trichy is situated in the Tiruchirappalli division of Tamilnadu. It was established as a joint venture of the Government of Tamil Nadu and the Government of India in 1964. NIT Trichy was formerly known as the Regional Engineering College Tiruchirappalli. NIT Trichy admission 2024 for B.Tech courses will commence from June 10, 2024. Applicants must be JEE Main qualified in order to be admitted to BTech programmes. JEE Main Session 2 results have been declared by NTA on April 24, 2024. Those who qualify for JEE Main can apply for JoSAA counselling which will tentatively begin from June 10. Admission at NIT Trichy is offered through the performance of the candidate in the entrance exams as well as the marks acquired in the qualifying degrees. It is mandatory for candidates to fulfil the required eligibility criteria for NIT Trichy admission 2024. Once the eligibility criteria are fulfilled, aspirants have to complete the necessary application process. National-level entrance exams such as CAT, GATE, JEE Mains, etc. are accepted for NIT Trichy admission. Once they clear the entrance exam, they further have to participate in the counselling process as a part of the NIT Trichy admission process. Direct admission to NIT Trichy is not offered.
