VSAT 2025 Section Wise Marks Weightage

The VSAT 2025 exam paper will consist of 4 sections, each with equal weightage. The paper has a total of 120 questions, with one mark allotted for each correct answer. There is no negative marking. Candidates have two and a half hours to complete the exam. The section-wise marking scheme for all subjects is as follows:

  • Section 1: Maths or Biology - 30 questions, 30 marks, 2 hours 30 minutes
  • Section 2: Physics - 30 questions, 30 marks
  • Section 3: Chemistry - 30 questions, 30 marks
  • Section 4: English/Aptitude - 30 questions, 30 marks

The total mark for the paper is 120.

Candidates should have secured at least 60% marks in aggregate or a minimum aggregate of 7.0 CGPA at the qualifying exam level to be eligible for the VSAT exam. TS EAMCET/AP EAMCET/JEE Main/JEE Advanced/ qualified candidates with at least 60% aggregate or a CGPA of 7.0 at the intermediate or 10+2 level are also eligible to apply for the VSAT 2025 exam.
