Dear Student,
Following the second round of Karnataka DCET seat allotment results, you can cancel the allotted seat after paying the challan to the bank. You will also get a partial fee amount refunded in your account. However, there are certain conditions.
Cancelling Seat Within the Deadline: KEA allows you to cancel admission even after paying fees within a stipulated period. However, there will be a deduction of Rs. 5,000/- as per the rules and regulations.
Cancelling Seats After the Deadline: If you decide to cancel the seats after the deadline has passed, a huge penalty of five times the fee amount i.e. Rs. 25,000/- will be applied to all categories of candidates.
Thus, to avoid paying a hefty penalty, we suggest you accept seat allotment in the Karnataka DCET counselling wisely. Before selecting the seats and proceeding with the fee payment, make sure that you want it.
Good Luck!
