About LPU
LPU accepts JEE Main/CUET/LPUNEST scores for BTech admission. The NTA has declared the JEE Main 2024 session 2 result.
LPU or Lovely Professional University is a private university established in 2005. The university has multiple approvals and recognitions from University Grants Commission (UGC), Council of Architecture, National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and Bar Council of India (BCI). In LPU's first NAAC cycle of accreditation, the university has been given an “A++” grade. LPU NIRF Ranking 2023 is 46th for the overall category, 38th for the university, 42nd in the research, 50th in the engineering etc. As per the Times Higher Education Ranking for 2023, LPU has attained the ranking band of 801-1000.
Lovely Professional University course admissions are made in more than 300 courses in 55 disciplines at the certificate, diploma, UG, PG and doctoral levels. Admission to the majority of the courses is based on the LPUNEST. Apart from this, exams like GATE, NATA, CUET, CAT, XAT, NEET, etc. are also accepted. In addition, the university also offers a Job Ready course to the candidates which is dedicated to make the students career-driven i.e. B.Tech in UX (IXP). In 2023, LPU highest package offered to a School of Education student was Rs 8 lakh per annum.
The university homes more than 30,000 students and 4000 faculty members are present at the university. LPU University campus area is spread across 600 acres. The campus is equipped with world-class facilities like hostels, transportation, a university hospital, shopping and dining facilities, banking facilities, well-stocked libraries, etc.

LPU Placements
LPU placements data for the academic year 2024 is yet to be released by the university. For Lovely Professional University placement in 2023, the university has concluded its placement drive for the School of Education. The placement percentage attained for 2023 so far is 90%. 28 students of BA/B.Sc B.Ed (Integrated) and B.Ed bagged successful placements. The highest package offered is Rs 8 lakh per annum. The placement drive for other courses are ongoing and the university is yet to released the placement data.

LPU Courses and Admission 2024
LPU courses are offered at the diploma, UG, PG and PhD levels in more than 55 streams and 150 programmes. The courses are offered in streams like engineering, management, science, computers, design, pharmacy, and architecture, to name a few. Some of the popular LPU courses are BPT, B.Tech, BCA, BBA, MCA, M.Pharm, MBA etc. The university offers all its courses in regular mode. LPU course fee ranges between Rs 60,000 to Rs 5,00,000 per year (depending on the course).

LPU Cut Off
Based on the scores of the LPUNEST, the university conducts its counselling process in multiple rounds for each phase of the LPUNEST. Candidates must meet the minimum LPU cut off to be shortlisted for the counselling rounds. Seats are allotted separately during every counselling round of the university. The cut off for 2023 has not been released yet. It is affected by a variety of factors like:

LPU Scholarships
LPU scholarships are offered across various categories to deserving candidates. The LPUNEST is used as a criterion to award the majority of the scholarships. Apart from this, LPU also offers a GPAT-Based scholarship. All the AICTE-approved colleges were eligible for GPAT-based scholarships as well as the AICTE-M.Arch scholarships.The same has been discontinued from 2023. However, LPU is still continuing with its GPAT-based scholarships and interested candidates can apply for the same.
