The BITSAT 2025 syllabus will include 5 subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English, and Logical Reasoning. Applicants opting for BPharm courses have to attempt Biology subject instead of Mathematics. Candidates preparing for BITSAT must note that NCERT textbooks of Class 11 and 12 are the major sources for exam preparation. Candidates appearing for BITSAT 2025 need to note that the BITSAT 2025 entrance exam is a computer-based online test. The BITSAT Exam Pattern 2025 also states that candidates will have to sit for the exam for 3 hours. The types of questions asked in the exam will be in the form of MCQs. Yes, the BITSAT syllabus is almost the same every year. No major changes are expected in the BITSAT 2024 syllabus.
There are 60 chapters in the BITSAT syllabus which include 18 chapters of Physics, 14 chapters of Chemistry, 12 chapters of Mathematics, 4 chapters of English, 2 chapters of Reasoning and 10 chapters of Biology.
The BITSAT syllabus has more in common with the JEE Main paper as both of them are majorly based on the Class 11 and 12 topics.

66% in 12th is not enough for you to apply for BITSAT. To be eligible for BITSAT, you must have a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology subjects in the 12th Class, with at least 60% marks in each of the subjects (PCM/ PCB). We suggest you go through the BITSAT eligibility criteria to get an idea and stay updated on the latest eligibility norms laid down by BITS authority.
