MBBS admission 2024MBBS, also known as Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, has been one of the prestigious medical courses across the globe for generations. It is also one of the most challenging courses to pursue after the 12th. Admission to MBBS courses in India is granted based on the NEET scores obtained by the candidates. As per the tentative schedule shared by NTA on its official website, the NEET 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 5, 2024 (Sunday) and result for the same is antipcated to be released in the second or third week of June 2024. 

MBBS course aims to give an academic understanding of concepts such as human anatomy, chemistry, medicine, drug formulation and effect, pharmaceutical experience and method of surgery through practical and theoretical experiences. Candidates who have passed class 12 with at least 50% marks in PCB and have a valid score in the NEET exam are eligible to apply for admission. AFMC courses do not include B.Sc in Cardiac Care Technology. It offers a B.Sc Nursing programme.  But in the Cardiac department, the college offers a Bachelor of Paramedical Technology in Cardio Technician with an annual intake of 5 students.

Armed Forces Medical College enrolment form fee is Rs 20. For Armed Forces Medical College admission candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria laid down by the institute.

You won't get admission at Armed Forces Medical College by MHT CET or by MHT CET in BSc Nursing. AFMC conducts entrance exam in February/ March every year, at certain selected centers. All the eligible eandidates will be called for personal interview round in April/May each year.
