About Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology
Godavari Institute of Engineering & Technology was established in the year 1998 and is run by Chaitanya Educational Group with a mission to provide education to all the students. It is a private, autonomous institute which is situated in Hyderabad, Telangana. The college has been affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University Kakinada (JNTUK). It has been recognised by UGC and has also been approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The institute has also been accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with an “A+” grade along with NBA.
The institute has been considered as one of the top 10 engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The students at GIET Rajahmundry are trained by the best teachers with the help of world-class amenities that makes them work towards academic excellence.
The GIET Rajahmundry courses are offered to interested candidates at the diploma, undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels. There are a total of 26 courses offered to students in the stream of engineering, computer applications and management. All the courses at the college are offered in offline, regular mode to the students. The Godavari Institute of Engineering & Technology admission to all the courses is offered on the basis of the candidate's performance in the respective entrance exam as well as the last qualifying exam. AP EAMCET (for B.Tech courses), GATE/AP PGECET (for M.Tech courses), and AP ICET (for MBA & MCA courses) are some of the entrance exams that are accepted by the institute for admission.
A gymnasium, boys' and girls' hostels, laboratories, a sports complex, transportation services, banking services, a full-fledged library, a canteen and other amenities are available to students at the GIET Rajahmundry campus, which is spread out over an area of more than 300 acres. Additionally, the college has a separate placement cell for tasks connected to placement. Every year, placement drives are held by the GIET Rajahmundry placement cell and the participating recruiters to give students the opportunity to begin their careers before even completing their education.
