Admission to Government Medical College Amritsar is offered based on entrance examination scores. If you are willing to get admission in MD/MS course at GMC Amritsar then you shall have qualified the NEET UG or NEET PG exam respectively. However, for the B.Sc Nursing course, the authorities accept Punjab Para Medical Entrance Test (PPMET) scores for admission followed by a merit list. If you are seeking admission to any course at GMC Amritsar then you must go through the admission process administered by BFUHS Faridkot which is GMC Amritsar's affiliating university.

Every year, the authority releases the cut-off in the form of a merit list including the names and details of students for admission. Note that, the college does release the merit list separately for several quotas including the sports quota. Whether 153 marks are sufficient or not for admission to Government Medical College, Amritsar will be determined once the official merit list is announced.

OTT Admission Processes

In order to pursue any course in OTT, candidates will need to go through the OTT admission process of the college/institution/university that offers the programme.
