For the BA course, Halim Muslim PG College can accommodate 900 students. By the Muslim Association of Kanpur, the college was founded in 1959. Since then, the institute has developed into one of the state's top minority institutions and has been assisting society through the provision of education of the highest calibre. Late Babu Adul Barkat Saheb and Late Janab Ahmad Saheb, B.A., who served as the college's first president and secretary, respectively, also served the institution in a selfless manner. They worked hard, and as a result, the college developed into a post-graduate establishment with faculties of the arts, social sciences, commerce and teacher preparation (B.Ed.).
