The Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM or IISWBM, Kolkata) is an autonomous public B-School, located in Kolkata, which is the capital of the Indian State of West Bengal. Founded on April 25, 1953, IISWBM is the first management institute in the country was thus established by Dr. B.C. Roy, the then C.M of West Bengal as its Founder - President and Prof. D.K Sanyal as the first Director.
IISWBM offers various PG, Certificate and Doctoral programs in the field of Management. Selection for all these programs is on the basis of National level exams such as CAT, MAT, GMAT, XAT, ATMA, Group Discussion and Personal Interview conducted by the institute.
