MGIT - Admission 2024, Fees, Courses, Placement, Ranking

MGIT offers admission to its BTech courses through TS EAPCET score and through management quota. TS EAMCET exam 2024 for BTech has started on May 07 and will continue till May 11, 2024. The exam is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) and it will release the results in June 2024 (tentative). Students will need their TS EAMCET 2024 registration number, date of birth, and hall ticket number to check their results. Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will conduct the TS EAMCET counselling 2024 in June (tentative)for admission to BTech at MGIT.

Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology or MGIT is a premier self-financing engineering college in Telangana. MGIT Hyderabad is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. The National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi, recently granted the institute four years of accreditation for all six B.Tech programmes. The institute has also received an 'A' grade from NAAC. The Chaitanya Bharathi Educational Society (CBES) founded the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology in 1997 in a serene and tranquil atmosphere in Gandipet, Hyderabad, and it has increased since then. MGIT courses include 11 undergraduate programmes. They are computer science, information technology, electrical and electronics engineering, electronics and communication engineering, mechatronics, metallurgical and materials engineering, civil engineering, and mechanical engineering, computer science and business systems, computer science and engineering (artificial intelligence and machine learning), and computer science and engineering (artificial Intelligence and machine learning), computer science and engineering (data science). 

MGIT admission in M.Tech is done either by Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or by PGECET which is conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State. Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology B.Tech admission is offered on the basis of AP EAMCET and participation in the AP EAMCET counselling. TS EAMCET  

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad conducts this standard entrance test on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). TS EAMCET is for admission to various UG professional programmes in Telangana's universities and private colleges for BE, B.Tech, BVSc, BFSc, B.Sc Nursing, B.Pharm, D.PharmD, and other professional programmes. The exam is entirely computer-based. Admission to MGIT B.Tech courses will be based only on the normalised TS EAMCET scores.

GATE

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an online national-level examination for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other institutes/universities across India for M.E, M.Tech, and direct PhD programmes. Admission to MGIT M.Tech courses will be based on GATE scores.

• Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC): 

MGIT has an IQAC that handles all of the college's quality-related issues. This committee was formed to ensure that the institute's quality is never jeopardised.

• Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC)

The goal of the IIPC is to create a forum for developing the relationship between MGIT and industry and foster collaboration between the institute and industry to exchange the expertise of industry and institute professionals.

• Career Guidance Cell (CGC)

It is a source of information for guiding and counselling students and providing training opportunities in academics and personal development. The CGC is dedicated to assisting students in preparing for interviews, job placements, and training programmes that will help them develop the skills necessary to meet the demands of a competitive world.

• Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC)

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell at MGIT was established to stimulate techno-entrepreneurship and develop an entrepreneurial culture within the institute.

• Women Welfare Committee (WWC)

It was formed to handle all of the challenges and concerns women at the institute had. It is a women-centric committee tasked with resolving all of the institute's women's issues.
