About Mohan Babu University

Mohan Babu University is a state private university established in 1992. Located in Tirupati, Chittoor District, the university is backed by Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust under the leadership of Dr M. Mohan Babu. The university was granted the ‘UGC-Colleges with Potential for Excellence’ status under CPE Scheme by UGC, New Delhi. Not only that, it is graded A+ by NAAC. It comprises seven schools namely the School of Engineering and Technology, School of Management, School of Paramedical and Health Sciences, School of Liberal Art and Sciences, School of Art and Design, School of Agriculture, School of Media Studies, and School of Film Academy. It is also the first state private university in Andhra Pradesh to offer a flexible choice-based credit system to Plan Own Degree (POD).

Mohan Babu University Admission Process 2024

For all the entrance-based courses admission, candidates need to start the Mohan Babu University admission process by filling up the entrance exam form, appearing for it and qualifying it. Next, candidates who have cleared the MBU cutoff 2024, need to sit for counselling. Post counselling, they need to pay the MBU admission fees.  Admission to Mohan Babu University non-entrance-based courses will begin by registering and filling up the application form. Mohan Babu University Scholarships

Mohan Babu University scholarships are merit-based. Dear aspirant At LPU the fee is as per the calibre of the student. It varies with the student's score and achievements in the previous academic record as well as their performance in LPUNEST. The basic fee for BSc Agriculture at LPU is Rs 1,20,000 per semester. At LPU scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance in the eligibility qualification: (for example, on the basis of performance in10+2 for undergraduate programmes and graduation for PG Programmes), scholarship on the basis of qualification previous to eligibility qualification (this scholarship is applicable for after graduation programmes),, LPUNEST score, certain national level tests (like JEE (Mains), NEET, UCEED, CAT, MAT, GATE, GPAT, MAT etc.), scholarship based on Innovation, Startup & Entrepreneurship, performance in sports, cultural, R&D, co-curricular, social service and bravery awards, for toppers of centre and state boards. Apart from the scholarship schemes, LPU also offers financial aid to the students belonging to underprivileged students like orphans, persons with disability etc. or some specific groups like Wards of Defence personnel etc. I hope this will help

The B.Tech course at Mohan Babu University is offered for a total of 10 specialisations. CSE (AI & ML), Civil Engineering, CSE, CSE (Cyber Security), CSE (Data Science), CS & IT, EEE, ECE, EIE and Mechanical Engineering are the specialisations in which B.Tech courses are offered. The duration of the B.Tech courses is 4 years and offered in regular, offline mode. The university accepts AP EAMCET entrance exam for admission to the course. Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum of 45% marks in the last qualifying exam and Physics, Chemistry and Maths as main subjects.
