On July 24, 2023, the JIS School of Medical Science & Research was inaugurated remotely by Mamata Banerjee, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal. JIS Group in association with the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal has started the JIS School of Medical Science & Research in Santragachi, Howrah in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode. With approval from the National Medical Council, JIS School of Medical Science & Research seeks to offer admission to 150 students annually to its prestigious MBBS course effective from the academic year 2023-24.
