NIT Garwhal - Admission 2024, Fees, Courses, Placement, Ranking

NIT Uttarakhand has started the admission process for B.Tech for 2024. JEE Main 2024 session 2 result is out. NTA has released the result on April 24, 2024. Candidates can check their scores and download their scorecards at jeemainsession2.ntaonline.in using their application number and date of birth. A total of 56 students achieved 100 percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2. Next, candidates need to register for JoSAA counselling for NIT Uttarakhand B.Tech admission. The registration window will open on June 10, 2024.

National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand is among the top National Institute of Technology present in the country. It is popularly known as NITUK, and the institute received approval from the Ministry of Human Resource Development under the Parliament Act 2009. Some of the top NIT Uttarakhand courses are B.Tech and M.Tech programmes in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Civil Engineering. NITUK also provides PhD programmes in various streams of Science, Humanities and Engineering. 

As per statistics mentioned on the official website, the NIT Uttarakhand placement for 2022 a total of 128 students were eligible to appear for the placement process. Out of them, a total of 91 were placed in the various companies that visited the campus. This placement data of successful candidates is 71% which is more than 20 % in comparison to the previous year's data. The average placement is Rs 10 lakh per annum while the NIT Uttarakhand highest package is Rs 34 lakh per annum.

NIT Uttarakhand's temporary campus is located at Government Polytechnic, in the Pauri Garhwal district of Srinagar. It is connected to National Highway 58 which links Srinagar Garhwal to Badrinath. Rishikesh railway station is the nearest railway station and Jolly Grant Airport Haridwar is the nearest airport to NIT UK. The NIT Uttarakhand campus consists of the Science and Humanities department, Library, Classrooms, Server Room, Dispensary, Playground, Hostels and Auditorium.
