NEET PG Counselling 2024 Process
NEET PG counselling 2024 is held online on MCC's official website. All eligible students have to register themselves to participate in the counselling rounds. Students need to fill in relevant details, upload documents, and choose their preferred colleges as well as course. To gauge a better understanding of the NEET PG counselling 2024 process, refer to the steps given below.
Step 1: Registration
This is the first step for NEET-PG counselling. Qualified candidates have to enter their Roll number, Stream, Testing ID, Candidates’ name, Date of Birth and a Security pin to register themselves for counselling process. Afterwards, a Registration slip is generated indicating the details of candidates. Steps for registration are following:
Visit the official website link.
Click on the “New Registration” link.
Register yourself for the counselling by providing login credentials such as Application Number, Roll Number, DOB, and Name.
After that, click on the ‘Submit’ tab.
Step 2: Login for NEET PG 2024 Counselling
After successful registration, you have to login with your login ID and the chosen Password.
Applicants will be required to submit details such as the mother’s name, father’s name and address details of the candidate.
Click on the ‘Submit’ tab.
Note: It must be noted that the information provided should be similar to the documents applicants will submit at the time of admission.
Step 3: Payment of Fees:
In this step of NEET PG counselling 2024, applicants will be required to submit the non-refundable registration fee. The fees can be paid only online through Credit/Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.

- Applicants also have to pay the tuition fee which is refunded if no seats will be allotted to the candidates. The tution fees are:

After the successful submission of fees, the registration slip will appear on the screen. You are suggested to keep safe the printed application form for further use.

Step 4: Filling and Submission of Choices for NEET PG 2024 Counselling
In this step, applicants have to fill and submit their choices for NEET PG counselling purposes. Applicants have to fill the choices according to their preferences.
You can fill in as many options but should make sure to submit the same in the order of preference.
After selecting choices, applicants will be asked to click on ‘Save & Continue’ tab.
Step 5: NEET PG 2024 Mock Counselling
Here, applicants are given a mock practice of how the counselling process works, as conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The allotment of the seats is done on the basis of applicant’s choices and All India Rank.
Step 6: Choice Locking Facility for NEET PG 2024 Counselling
After filling the choices, applicants get an option to lock their choices by clicking on ‘Choice lock’. For choice locking of NEET PG 2024 counselling, applicants are required to enter their password.
After locking the choices, it is advisable to take a printout of the locked choices.
If the applicant does not lock the choice submitted by them, submitted choices by them will be automatically locked
Step 7: Seat Allotment for NEET PG Counselling 2024
After choice filling, the seat allotment process will take place.
The seat allotment will be done on the basis of the choices filled by applicants, availability of seats and All India Rank.
After seat allotment, MCC will publish the result of 1st round counselling displaying All India Rank, institute allotted, subjects, the category under which admission was granted.
Step 8: Reporting at Allotted Colleges
This is the final step of the NEET-PG counselling 2024 process. Applicants have to download the allotment letter and must report at the allotted institutes along with the relevant documents and fee.
