In NEET PG 2024, there will be five time-bound sections. 40 questions will be asked in each section that students need to answer in a time limit of 42 minutes.

Benefits of Sectional Time Limit in NEET PG 2024

Many students might get anxious when they learn that there are time limitations for each section in NEET PG. On the other hand, these changes in the exam pattern can be very beneficial in many ways. Check out the benefits of sectional time limit in NEET PG 2024-
  • The sectional time limit in NEET PG ensures that all candidates have an equal opportunity to answer questions across different sections.
  • This allows NBEMS for a more precise evaluation of strengths and weaknesses, helping to identify areas where further study or improvement may be needed.
  • With sectional time limits, test-takers can easily manage their time within each section.
  • Test-takers may be less likely to rush through questions or make careless errors if they know they have a limited amount of time to complete each section.
Note: To avoid receiving negative marks for incorrect attempts in NEET PG, refrain from casually marking answers and relying on changing them afterwards.

Aspirants must note that the test-takers can still mark any question for review, whether attempted or not. The only change is that they cannot review the questions once the allotted time for the section is over. The marking schemes and exam patterns for NEET PG is still the same; only the sectional time limit has been introduced in NEET PG 2024.
