• The institution has a dedicated placement cell in place that oversees all placement-related activities. The placement cell is known as the Career Management Centre (CMC). 
• The main objective of the CMC is to enhance the placement prospects of IBS students. 
• The cell maintains industrial relations with prospective recruiters. Over the years, they have developed strong relationships with more than 4,000 companies all over India. 
• During the IBS Dehradun placement 2021, more than 500 companies had visited the institution as per the reports of the placement cell. 
• The cell conducts activities like Personality Development, Career Counseling, Career Library, Internships, and, Strong Industry Interface.
• International and national companies participate in the placement process of the institution each year. 

• For the placement session of 2022, 99% of students bagged placements in reputed firms. 
• There was a rise of 7% in the highest package of 2022 as compared to 2021.
• A total of 141 students participated in the on-campus placements for the current session.
• 35 recruiters visited the campus for placements.
• The IBS Dehradun MBA average package was Rs 6.01 lakh per annum. 
• The highest domestic package was Rs 10 lakh per annum.  
• The maximum placement was done in the Financial Services sector and accounted for 22% share of the total placements.
• This was followed by the IT sector which secured 18% of placements followed by the Banking sector which had 17% of placements. 
• The other sectors where IBS Dehradun placement was made include Consulting, Insurance, Education, Media, Research and FMCG, among others.  
• The top 10% average package was Rs 8.17 lakh per annum.
• The top 25% average package was Rs 7.04 lakh per annum. 
• The top recruiters who participated in placements were ICICI Bank, Indiamart, Byju’s, HDFC Bank, Edukyu, Bandhan Bank, Axis Bank, and Planetspark to name a few.

• The placement rate in 2021 was 97%.
• The highest domestic package offered during 2021 was Rs 10.62 lakh per annum.
• The top 10% average package in 2021 was Rs 8.60 lakh per annum.
• The top 25% average package for 2021 was Rs 7.08 lakh per annum.
• The IBS Dehradun average package offered was Rs 5.62 lakh per annum. 
• There was a rise of 2% in the placement rate for 2022 when compared to 2021.
