BBE Admission Process in India 2024
Across India, it is commonly witnessed to see candidates visit various colleges for the different admission processes. Among these admission processes that are commonly practised in educational institutions in India include Entrance-Based and Merit-Based admissions. Here are the steps in the BBE admissions processes in India 2024.
Entrance-Based Admissions
This type of admission process usually takes place at Universities. Candidates will be asked to appear for the entrance test for BBE which will be conducted at the university-level.
After attempting the entrance exam, universities/colleges will release the results and a merit list containing the names of the candidates who have cleared the entrance test.
Based on the scores that have been secured by the candidates, they will be called for further selection processes, which may include a Personal Interview and/or Group Discussion.
The universities/colleges will shortlist the candidates for admission based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance test and the personal interview and/or group discussion.
Merit-Based Admissions
The college/institutions will call the applicants for the selection processes, as has been defined by each respective colleges.
It is possible for the colleges/institutions to release merit lists based on the application forms that have been received and call the prospective students for the selection processes as per the merit lists.
Candidates will be asked to participate in certain selection processes which may include a Personal Interview and/or a Group Discussion, depending on the admission policy of the respective colleges.

Counselling-Based Admissions
