Railway Central jobs are one of the most sought after jobs in India which is run by the Central Government of India. The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has opened the recruitment application for apprentice posts starting from December 23, 2020. The interested applicants can apply for the post online through their official website. The last day for applying for the apprentice post is January 20, 2020. The vacancy for the central railway apprentice is open for various clusters including Pune, Solapur, Mumbai, Nagpur, and Bhusawal.

The average salary of a railway apprentice ranges between INR 6,000-25,000. The applicants need to qualify 10th or 10+2 to apply for the railway apprentice jobs.

Central Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2019-20 Eligibility Criteria

For being eligible for central railway apprentice recruitment 2019-20, the applicants need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

  • The applicant should be a minimum of 15 years of age and should not be above 24 years of age. (Age relaxation has been given to OBC class of 3 years and SC/ST class of 5 years)

  • The applicant should have passed 10th or an equivalent course from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

  • The applicant should possess a National Trade Certificate depending on the respective trade or a provisional training certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training.

Central Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2019-20 Application Form

The application process for Central Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2019-20 is as per the given steps:

  • The applicant needs to go to the official website of RRC CR, i.e., www.rrccr.com

  • The applicant will have to search for the link as “Online application for Engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961” under Recruitment/career

  • Then, the students have to click on the “click to view/download notification” link and carefully read the notifications related to Central Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2019-20.

  • Now, the applicant will have to choose the post for which the applicant needs to apply.

  • The applicant has to click on the apply online link and fill the application form with the required details along with uploading all the correct documents.

  • Finally, the applicant will need to pay the application fee online and submit the application form.

  • The applicants are also advised to download the application form for future references.

Central Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2019-20 Application Fee

The applicant will have to pay an application fee of INR 100 which can be paid using online payment methods including Internet Banking, debit card, credit card, Challan, etc.

Central Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2019-20 Selection Process

The selection of the applicant for Central Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2019-20 will be solely based on the merit of the applicant. The merit will be calculated on the basis of marks obtained by the applicant in 10 or an equivalent course; with a minimum of 50% aggregate; added with the ITI marks in the respective apprentice trade. The panel will be dependent on the average as calculated for the matriculation and ITI marks for the apprentice trade.
