Lovely Professional University popularly known as LPU is among the best private universities in Punjab. It is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Lovely Professional University course admissions are made at the UG, PG, Diploma, and, Doctoral levels in streams of engineering, commerce, computer science, management, fashion design, and many other fields. Admission to the university is based on entrance exams like LPUNEST, CUET, JEE Main, GATE, CAT, NATA, etc. The LPUNEST is a scholarship-cum-entrance test conducted by the university.
