CSAB Special Round Fees: CSAB Special Round Counselling Registration and choice filling will commence from July 31, 2024. The last date for candidates to register for CSAB counselling and complete the choice filling process is August 2, 2024. Applicants while registering for the counselling must also pay the CSAB Special Round Enrolment Fee from July 31 to August 2, 2024. Candidates must pay the fees for CSAB special round within the deadline as mentioned by the authorities. The CSAB special round fees is given in the below table.

Is 75% criteria required for CSAB counselling?
Candidates must have secured at least 75% aggregate marks in the Class XII (or equivalent) Board examination. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%. Candidates must be within the category-wise top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective Class XII (or equivalent) board examination.
Who is eligible for CSAB counselling in 2024?
As per the eligibility criteria mentioned in the official notification, all the candidates who are eligible for JoSAA NIT system as per their JEE Main 2024 ranks are eligible for participating in the CSAB 2024 special round counselling.
Which rank is considered in the CSAB special round?
Candidates’ rank in the Common Rank List i.e. CRL rank will be used in CSAB Special Round. This will not affect the reserved category seats since Category Quota seats are allotted to candidates of that category only. Thus, seat allotment is the same except the fact that CRL ranks are used in the CSAB Counselling.
How many choices should candidates fill in the CSAB 2024?
Candidates can add as many choices in the order of preference as they wish to from the available choices.
How does the CSAB special round work?
The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) organizes two special rounds of seat allocation to allocate the unfilled seats of the NIT+ System after the 5th JoSAA Round. The CSAB-Special Rounds is being conducted by NITK Surathkal through the online portal of CSAB i.e., csab.nic.in.
Is the CSAB fee refundable?
If candidates are not allotted any seat in CSAB even in the 2nd special round, then their participation fees amount will be refunded after deducting a processing fees of Rs. 2000. The remaining amount will be sent to the candidates within 3 to 4 working days or before.
