National Technology Day 2025 Celebration - Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council and Ramaiah Technology Business Incubator, is jointly celebrating 'National Technology Day 2025' on 12th May 2025 (Monday) at 10:00 AM in Room A206, Ramaiah Technology Campus, Peenya. We are honored to welcome Padma Shri Dr. A. S. Kiran Kumar, former Chairman of ISRO, as the Chief Guest for the event. SRMIST Hosts 6th International Saiva Siddhanta Conference Celebrating Tamil Spiritual Heritage - The 6th International Saiva Siddhanta Conference, jointly organized by the venerable Dharmapuram Adheenam and the Tamil Perayam of SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), was inaugurated at SRMIST, Kattankulathur. The conference has drawn a distinguished gathering of scholars, spiritual leaders, students, and international delegates in a vibrant confluence of Saiva thought and Tamil spiritual heritage. Congratulations to Ms. Manya M.V. for Achieving Finalist Position in Speak for India Competition - We are proud to celebrate the exceptional achievement of Ms. Manya M.V., a student of B.Sc. Food Technology, Department of Food Technology, Faculty of Life and Allied Health Sciences, Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS). She emerged as one of the top 8 finalists in the prestigious ‘Speak for India – Karnataka Edition’ debate competition, organized by the Times of India. Competing against more than 22,000 participants from colleges across Karnataka, Manya impressed the judges with her eloquence, critical thinking, and confident stage presence. At the grand finale held at Kristu Jayanti College, Bengaluru, she delivered a powerful speech in support of the motion: “Artificial Intelligence & Algorithms – Are They Taking Away Our Privacy?” Her compelling arguments earned her accolades and a cash prize of ₹50,000.

Introduction of M.Sc. New B.Sc. (Hons.) Food Processing and Technology Course Offered - Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences is excited to announce the introduction of a new undergraduate program: B.Sc. (Hons.) in Food Processing and Technology. This specialized program is designed to provide students with in-depth knowledge and skills in the science and technology of food production, preservation, and processing. The curriculum covers essential topics such as food microbiology, quality assurance, food engineering, and nutritional aspects, preparing graduates for diverse career paths in the food and beverage industry. The program will be offered at the Gnanagangothri Campus and is a full-time three-year course. The fee structure is set at INR 175,000 per year, with an intake of 60 seats. Tamil Perayam Awards 2025 - Call for Applications - The Tamil Perayam Awards 2025 will be held to honor outstanding contributions in the field of Tamil literature and culture. Applications are currently being accepted for the awards, which recognize excellence in categories such as Best Tamil Book, Best Tamil Magazine, Best Tamil Organization, and Best Tamil Scholar.
