DSEU Delhi Polytechnic (Diploma) Admission 2023: Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Result, Merit List, Selection Process

DSEU Delhi Polytechnic Admission 2023 - The Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University will conduct the second round of counselling from July 22 to 24, 2023, on its official website dseuonline.in. The admission to DSEU Delhi Polytechnic is done on the basis of DSEU CET which was formerly known as the Delhi CET 2023 exam. For admission into diploma courses through DSEU CET 2023, candidates are required to pass class 10 with at least 50% marks with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. Similarly, for admission into part-time diploma courses (3 years), candidates are required to have passed class 10 from a recognized institute or equivalent with mathematics as a compulsory subject + ITI (2 years) or candidates should have passed class 12 with a vocational stream.

Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University provides admission to three types of diploma programs via the engineering entrance exam. The admission process for Polytechnic courses in Delhi for the academic session 2023-2024 is being conducted by Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU). The candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria could submit the application form via the DSEU 2023 official website - dseu.ac.in.

Selection Process of DSEU Delhi Polytechnic Admission 2023

For the year 2023, the selection of candidates will be based on merit in the CET exam 2023. The selection of the candidate to Delhi Polytechnic 2023 is entirely based on merit and the preference chosen by the candidate in the application. Further on, counselling takes place, which is done in Delhi.

The reservation structure for the Government-sponsored, Govt. Aided, and self-financed private Institutions for the academic year 2021-22 as per the policy of the Delhi Govt. Seats are Reserved for SC/ST & PH.

DSEU Delhi Polytechnic 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Category 1 (All the 10th based Diploma courses)

• To sit for test 1, the candidates should have passed class 10th with a minimum of 35% marks in Science, Mathematics, and English subjects.
• The aspirant must have minimum passing marks in Science, English, and Mathematics subjects.

Category 2 (Modern Office Practice (English)

To sit for test 2, the candidate should have passed 10th with a minimum of 35% marks in the top three subjects. The candidate must have at least passing marks in English.

Category 3 (Modern Office Practice (Hindi)

To sit for test 3, the candidate should have passed class 12th or equivalent exam with a minimum of 35% aggregate marks in the top three subjects. At least passing marks in Hindi/Sanskrit are necessary.

Category 4 (Diploma in Pharmacy)

To sit for test 4, the aspirant must have passed class 12th physics, chemistry as compulsory subjects, and any one of Biology or Mathematics.

Category 5 (2nd-year Diploma course)

To sit for test 5, the applicant should have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology. The candidates who have cleared class 12th science with Mathematics or Technical or Vocational subjects can also apply. Applicants with a two-year ITI after the 10th standard from Delhi's recognized institute can also sit for the test.

DSEU Delhi Polytechnic 2023 Result

The Delhi CET 2023 results were made available online by DSEU on July 7. The Delhi CET 2023 merit list was issued to eligible candidates based on their performance in the engineering entrance exam. The Delhi CET 2023 result was available in the form of a PDF file featuring the merit list. Candidates who passed the DSEU Delhi Polytechnic admission process in 2023 were called for the counselling rounds. 

DSEU Delhi Polytechnic Counselling Process 2023

After successfully cracking the entrance, the candidate must attend the counselling process in person. Delhi CET counselling 2023 will be divided into four rounds, after which if seats are still vacant, further rounds would be conducted. The counselling would be done online. Seats will be allotted according to the ranks that a candidate has obtained in qualifying exams. Those satisfied with the given seat can move on to the further process and those who are looking for a better seat can come for the next counselling rounds.

Payment of Processing Fees:

A total amount of Rs 700 plus bank charges needs to be paid to attend the counselling process, which is a one-time non-refundable payment. This can be made through challan, net banking or debit card.
