A. Personal Information - as registered in Class 12 or equivalent examination
When filling out the NATA 2024 Application form candidates will be required to fill in their details accurately. We advise the aspirants to check the list of all the required personal details below-
Candidate’s Full Name
Enter full name as per 10th School Leaving Certificate. The name should be of Max 46 characters; as per the school leaving record. While filling out the application form, make sure to not use prefixes like Sri, Mr, Ms, Dr, Late, etc.
Father’s Name
In this field, candidates have to enter their father’s name according to the school leaving certificate. The name should be of Max 46 characters. Do not use any kind of prefixes like Sri, Mr, Ms, Dr, Late, etc.
Mother’s Name
In this field, candidates have to enter the Mother’s name. The maximum number of characters used should be 46. Do not use any kind of prefixes like Sri, Mr, Ms, Dr, Late, etc.
Date of Birth
Enter the date of birth exactly as recorded in the High/Secondary School Leaving Certificate.
Gender
In this field, candidates will have to choose their gender from the drop-down menu. Three gender categories are mentioned- Male (M) / Female (F) / Transgender (T).
Category
In this field, candidates are required to select their category from the options of- General / SC / ST / OBC-NCL. Candidates should keep in mind that they will have to produce the required documents of any other category that they choose apart from general. Failing this, their candidature may be cancelled or the application may be rejected.
Person with disability
This field is Auto-filled with NO, which may be changed to YES, if appropriate. Candidates will be required to submit required documents to support their choice as a Person with Disability.
Type of disability
If a candidate has any kind of disability that is mentioned in the official notification like- Visual Acuity / eyed vision / Physically challenged/ Others then they have to choose from these options and provide the appropriate documents as well.
Place of Residence
This field requires information about the place of residence of candidates whether it is Rural / Urban / Sub Urban.
Nationality
In this field, candidates will have to select their nationality from the options provided- Indian / OCI / PIO / Foreign. (OCI- Overseas Citizen of India, PIO- Person of Indian Origin)
ID Document Type
In this field, candidates will have to select the ID that they want to provide as their Identification Proof as provided by Govt of India or the school. Candidates can choose to provide these ID Document Types- Aadhaar Number / Voter Card/PAN card/ Aadhar Card/driver's License / School Identity card (to be uploaded)
ID Number
Once candidates choose their ID Document Type they will have to provide their ID number as applicable.

B. Choice of examination Center
In this, candidates have to fill the choice of city for the examination. While selecting the NATA Exam Centres 2024, candidates will have three choices to be selected mandatorily from the entire list of cities nationwide.
C. Choice of Test
Candidates taking the NATA exam have to take either of the exams depending upon the phases. The candidates appearing in one phase are not required to appear in different phases. Candidates can, however, exercise their option by properly completing the application if they wish to take either of the exams. Candidates will have to select the exam session that best suits them even though the Council will allocate the same based on preference and availability.
D. Details of education - Class 10 or equivalent
In this field, candidates have to enter their educational details of Class 10th or equivalent. Given below pointers should be kept in mind while filling out this section.
Pass Status
This field is fixed as passed and candidates cannot alter anything as it is the minimum educational qualification that is mandatory to apply for NATA 2024
Course/Stream name
This field is also fixed as high school with no further alterations possible.
Board
Candidates will have to choose their Board from the drop-down list of different Boards of Education i.e. CBSE, ICSE, and State Boards.
Year of passing
This field requires candidates to fill in their year of passing their 10th Board Exams.
Obtained Marks (Subject-wise)
This is a mandatory field that the aspirants have to fill. They will have to fill in their subject-wise marks as per their 10th mark sheet.
Total Marks
Here candidates will have to enter the total marks of their 10th Board Exams
Percentage of Marks
In this field, candidates have to enter the percentage of marks that they have scored during their 10th Board Exam.
Roll No/Enroll No
In this field, candidates will have to enter the correct roll no as per Class 10th records
Institute Name and Address
Here candidates will have to enter the name and address of the school of study in Class 10th within 100 characters.
Pin Code
Candidates are required to enter the 6-digit PIN code of the school address.
E. Details of Education - Post 10th
Education Qualification
Enter the equivalent qualification details.
Pass Status
In this field, candidates will have to select whether they have passed or appeared in the relevant exam.
Course/Stream name
In this field, candidates will have to fill in their course or stream name that they have taken in 12th or graduation
Board/University Name
This field has a drop-down box containing all the names of the Boards of Education from national to state.
Year of passing
Candidates will have to mention their year of passing from the drop-down list.
Obtained Marks
In this field, candidates have to mention the marks they have obtained in the relevant exam.
Total Marks
Candidates will have to fill in the total marks that were assigned for that particular exam.
Percentage of Marks
This field is auto-calculated. The values entered by the candidates in total marks and marks obtained will be used to calculate the percentage of marks.
Roll No/Enroll No
The roll number of the candidate is to be entered here.
F. Communication address
Address of residence
Candidates are advised to Enter the correct and full address for future communication.
State of Domicile
Candidates will have to choose their state of domicile from the drop-down box that contains the names of all states.
District of Domicile
In this field, candidates will have to choose their district of domicile from the drop-down box that contains the names of all states.
Pin Code
Candidates are required to enter the 6-digit PIN code of the school/college address.
Email Id
Candidates need to enter their valid email ID for verification and communication purposes.
Mobile no.
Candidates are advised to enter a valid mobile number – to be used for communication.
Landline no.
This is not a mandatory field and is completely optional.
G. Secure application before final submission
Choose password
Enter a password as per the given criteria must be 8 to 13 characters long. Password must have at least one Upper case, one lower case alphabet one numeric value, and at least one special character such as !,@,#,$,%,^,&,*,- New Password cannot be identical to any of the previous three passwords.
Confirm password
Enter the same password as above to confirm the password.
Security Question
Candidates will have to choose from the drop-down menu of different security questions available.
Security Answer
Enter an answer per the chosen question.
Candidates will receive an email on their registered ID with the application number and password once the above-mentioned information has been filled out and submitted. This needs to be kept for upcoming website logins.
