GUJCET 2025: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Education Board (GSEB) has released the GUJCET 2025 Application Form. According to the official schedule, the last date to complete the GUJCET 2025 registration and submit the application form is December 31, 2024. Students willing to appear for the GUJCET Exam 2025 can fill out the GUJCET application form 2025. GUJCET 2025 will be conducted on March 23, 2025, by GSEB. GUJCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The authorities release the eligibility criteria of GUJCET 2025 along with the official information brochure. As per the GUJCET 2025 eligibility criteria all the candidates applying for the exam must be an Indian citizen. The minimum age limit for candidates to apply for the GUJCET 2025 exam is 17 years. As per the educational requirements, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry / Biology / Computer as other subjects. The minimum percentage of marks required to apply for the exam is 45% for unreserved category candidates and 40% for reserved category candidates.
GUJCET 2025 Application Form
The application form of GUJCET 2025 has been released in the online mode. The detailed process to fill the GUJCET application form 2025 is mentioned below.
Step 1: Registration
Candidates before filling out the online application form have to first register themselves for the exam. To register, applicants have to submit their personal details, communication address, valid Mail ID and phone number. Upon successful registration, GSEB will mail and also send a message on the registered phone number of the candidate’s registration number which has to be used for future purposes.\
Step 2: Payment of Application Fees
Upon completion of the registration process, candidates have to pay the requisite application fee to move to the next stage of the application process.
Step 3: Filling the GUJCET Application Form
After completing the payment process, candidates can now start filling out the application form of GUJCET 2025. To fill out the application form, candidates have to mention every detail about their educational qualifications, detailed communication address and detailed personal information.
Step 4: Documents Uploading
After filling out the GUJCET 2025 application form candidates are required to upload their signature and recent passport-size photograph as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities.
Step 5: Submit and Print Application Form
Finally, after uploading the documents required, applicants can see the preview of their application form and submit the form. Applicants are also recommended to take a coloured printout of the GUJCET application form after submitting the same.

GUJCET 2025 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern of GUJCET 2025 will be released along with the information brochure by the authorities on its official website. As per the GUJCET 2025 exam pattern, the GUJCET exam will be of a total of 120 marks. The total number of questions to be asked will be 120 and the time duration of the exam is 3 hours. All the questions asked in the exam will be Multiple Choice Questions. For each correct answer, students will be awarded 1 mark and for each incorrect answer ¼ Marks will be deducted. GUJCET 2025 exam will be conducted as an offline exam.

Do candidates need to wear a uniform in the GUJCET exam?
It is advised that the candidates should maintain decent attire while appearing for the GUJCET entrance exam. Light-coloured clothes are preferred for the GUJCET exam. Candidates must strictly avoid wearing dark-coloured or themed clothes and complicated clothing.
How many colleges accept the GUJCET score?
The GUJCET participating institutes comprises sixteen government, four grants-in-aid, one autonomous, two PPP degree, eighty-seven self-financed institutes affiliated with Gujarat Technological University, and twenty-eight SFI degree engineering institutes affiliated with private universities.
Can a non Gujarati give the GUJCET exam?
Candidates can only appear for the GUJCET exam only if they are an Indian National. Another important aspect of the GUJCET examination is that only the natives of Gujarat are eligible to appear for the GUJCET examination. No other candidate who belongs to any other state can be a part of the GUJCET examination.
What is the GUJCET exam useful for?
The GUJCET exam is highly competitive, with a large number of candidates appearing for the exam each year. The result of the GUJCET exam is used by various colleges and universities in Gujarat for providing admission into their undergraduate courses of engineering, pharmacy, and other professional courses.
Is there any provision of negative marking in the GUJCET exam?
The GUJCET paper has a negative marking of one fourth mark for every incorrect answer. In the GUJCET exam, each question is of 1 mark and for every incorrect answer, one-fourth (O. 25) mark is deducted. No marks are deducted for the unattempted questions.
Is NCERT enough for the GUJCET exam preparations?
The topics covered in the GUJCET syllabus is similar to CBSE class 11 and 12 syllabus. Candidates can prepare for the GUJCET exam using their NCERT textbooks and secure a decent score. Candidates are however suggested to refer to some additional books in order to score good marks in the GUJCET exam.
What if candidates fail the GUJCET exam?
In case candidates are unable to qualify the GUJCET exam, they can still get into the private colleges of Gujarat. Such colleges have their own rules for admission and they might consider other entrance exams or look at the Class 12 board exam scores. Some colleges might even have their own entrance exams or reserved seats.
Is the GUJCET exam easier than JEE Main?
If one has to compare the GUJCET entrance test with some other exams, then it can be said that it is very easy compared to the JEE Main exam and slightly easy compared to the NEET exam. There are a lot of local publications in Gujarat which have released reference books for GUJCET.
Can candidates give the GUJCET exam more than once in the same academic year?
No. Candidates cannot write the GUJCET exam again in the same academic year because it will be conducted only once. However, they can appear for the GUJCET exam the next academic year as per the eligibility requirements.
