To calculate the expected score using the IIT JAM 2025 Geology answer key, it is important for the candidate to have an idea of the IIT JAM Exam Pattern. There will be 30 MCQ-type questions in Section A, 10 MSQ-type questions in Section B, and 20 NAT-type questions in Section C. The MCQ-type questions will be of 1 or 2 marks, while the MSQ and NAT-type questions will be of 2 marks. In MCQ-type questions, 1/3 mark deduction will be for 1 mark question and 2/3 mark deduction will be for 2 mark question. There will be no negative marking for Sections B and C.
