PopularLovely Professional University (LPU) admission 2025-26 is open for diploma, UG, PG, and PhD programmes. Applications for all courses are accepted online, with the last date to apply for the current cycle being 30 June 2025. The university offers more than 40 courses in engineering, pharmacy, design, management, and other streams. Popular LPU programmes include BTech, BPharm, BArch, BSc, MBA, and MTech. Admission is based on the LPUNEST entrance test, which also serves as a scholarship exam, while national tests like CLAT, XAT, MAT, and JEE Main are also considered for select programmes. LPU course fees range from Rs 15,000 to Rs 2,80,000 per year, depending on the course selected.

About LPU
Lovely Professional University or LPU is a private institution situated in Chaheru, Phagwara, Punjab, India. Established in 2005 under the Lovely Professional University Act, 2005 (Punjab Act 25 of 2005), it began operations in 2006. LPU holds multiple approvals and recognitions from bodies such as the University Grants Commission (UGC), Council of Architecture, Association Of Indian Universities (AIU), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Council Of Architecture(COA), Indian Council Of Agricultural Research (ICAR), The Institution Of Engineers (India), Institute Of Town Planners, India (ITPI), and Bar Council of India (BCI). The university offers programmes across diverse fields, including business, fashion design, engineering, law, education, agriculture, humanities, and tourism. Admission to the majority of the courses is based on the LPUNEST. LPU has also started a few new courses - B.Tech (CSE - Fintech and AI), B.Tech. (CSE - Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality, Bachelor of Social Work (Hons.), Diploma in Child and Elderly Care, and MA (Clinical Psychology) with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI approval). This national entrance and scholarship exam evaluates the academic performance to check the eligibility for admission to various UG & PG programmes. This offers scholarships of up to Rs. 9.52 lakhs. LPUNEST has helped more than 1 lakh students for admission to over 150 programmes. With 300+ test centers across India and 8000+ scholarships awarded to the aspirants based on LPUNEST performance.
Apart from this, exams like GATE, NATA, CUET, CAT, XAT, NEET, etc. are also accepted. LPU has recently Launched B.Tech CSE work-integrated programmes in collaboration with Futurense, Kalvium, and Quantiphi. Admission to these programs is facilitated through various entrance tests conducted by the university, namely LPUNEST, LPUPET, and LPUTABS. As per the LPU admission process, LPUNEST serves as a mandatory test for admission into B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, Law, design (UG and PG), integrated BBA MBA, B.Pharm, B.Sc agriculture, B.Sc (Hons), M.Sc (Hons), BCA, and MCA courses. For other programmes, LPUNEST functions as a scholarship test. For admission to BTech courses, candidates need to qualify for JEE Main/LPUNEST/CUET. LPU Cutoff 2025
LPU Cutoff 2025 will be released by after the announcement of LPUNEST 2025 results. The cutoff will be declared for three categories based on LPUNEST scores and the results for Schedule II is released on July 16, 2025.
LPU cut off 2024 based on LPUNEST is released by the university. The cutoff is the minimum marks that candidates must obtain in entrance examinations such as LPUNEST, CAT, MAT, GATE etc. for admission. Only candidates who meet the LPU cutoff are eligible for admission. The university releases programme-wise cutoffs on its official website. LPU cutoff varies for each category of candidates. As per the rankings, Lovely Professional University (LPU) has achieved an NIRF rank of 49 in the overall category along with an NIRF rank of 31 in the university category. Spread across 600 acres of land, Lovely Professional University in Phagwara offers top-notch facilities to enhance students' learning experiences. LPU Scholarships 2025
Lovely Professional University provides scholarships to eligible candidates across various categories. The main criterion for awarding these scholarships is the LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test). Each student eligible for LPUNEST based scholarship can get up to Rs 9.52 lakhs as a scholarship amount. In addition, LPU scholarships are also based on GPAT scores.

Important Instructions
- All applications will be reviewed and verified by the Admission Verification Team before final approval and disbursement of scholarship benefits.
- To retain the scholarship in subsequent years, a minimum CGPA of 8.0 must be maintained annually.
- Failure to meet the criteria will lead to a downgrade to a general scholarship bracket, based on other applicable criteria.
Important Updates – Financial Aid
- With immediate effect, financial aid (LPU Rakshak Samman Anudan, LPU Shikshak Samman Anudan) stand withdrawn for all programmes, except:

- Application are also closed in LPURISE, Orphan, Need Based and Person with certain Disability schemes.
