TS PGECET Counselling 2024: The TS PGECET exam will held from June 10th to 13th, 2024. The last day to submit the application form with a late of Rs. 5000 is May 25th, 2024. For registered candidates, the TS PGECET 2024 admit card will release on May 28th and the result is expected to release towards the end of June, 2024. After the result is released the counselling process will continue and the candidates need to keep certain things in mind to make the process successful. The candidates will have to upload all the required documents and pay the registration fee as per the notified dates which is INR 600 for general candidates and INR 300 for SC/ ST candidates.

Listed below are some of the most important instructions for TS PGECET Counselling 2024 which the candidates must follow:

• The candidates will have to upload all the required documents and pay the registration fee as per the notified dates

• The registration fee for all the candidates is INR 600 while for SC/ ST candidates, it is INR 300

• The Integrated Community Certificate that SC/ ST candidates have to upload must be duly signed by Mandal Revenue Officer [MRO]

• The EWS certificate that has to be uploaded by the EWS candidates must be issued by MRO/ Tahsildar

• The candidates who want to get admission under special categories (NCC/CAP/PH/Sports) will have to be physically present for verification of certificates by slot booking on prescribed dates

• The candidates must produce all the educational certificates in ORIGINAL for certificate verification

• Tuition fee reimbursement will be as per the rules of the Telangana State government. The Income certificate uploaded by the candidates must be issued by MRO after 01-01-2024

• The status of preliminary online certificate verification will be notified to the candidates through SMS

• In case the verification officer raises any objection regarding the wrong/improper/irrelevant certificate, then the candidates will be provided with a chance to re-upload the documents. In case the issue is repeated, the application of the candidates will be rejected

• All the updates regarding document verification will be communicated to the candidates via their registered mobile numbers

• If any candidate has qualified in more than one GATE/ TS PGECET exam, he/ she will have to use credentials for only one test

• The list of registered candidates will be displayed on the official website. The candidates will have to verify the details added on the TS PGECET registration form as given in the list. If any discrepancy is found, the candidates must bring it to the notice of the Camp Officer/coordinator by calling the help centre immediately for corrections. It is VERY IMPORTANT to get the correct data as seat allotment will depend on these details

• At the time of online choice filling, the courses and colleges for which the candidates are eligible on the basis of GATE/GPAT/TSPGECET, qualifying degree, and specialization will be displayed. Candidates with more than one exam will have to exercise options on the basis of the registered hall ticket

• The candidates are advised to take a printout of the exercised options for future references

• On the last date, the choices will be processed and the allotment will be notified to the candidates via SMS

• The candidates will have to report to the allotted institutes and submit all the original documents for verification

• Final allotment of the seat for admission is subject to satisfactory verification of all original certificates at the allotted college and production of fee paid receipt

• The allotment order & joining report will be issued at the allotted college. The joining report will have to be submitted along with the original transfer certificate

• There must be 2 attested copies of all the certificates to be submitted

• The tuition fee of the candidate will be refunded in the following manner:

1. After the first phase, the full tuition fee will be refunded. 
2. 50% of the amount will be refunded after the final phase and before the cutoff date notified for cancellation in allotment order and 100% thereafter. 

• If there remain any seats vacant, the next round of counselling will be conducted for the vacant seats

• For the second phase of counselling, the candidates will have to exercise the options again and the phase 1 options will not be considered

• If the candidates are allotted seats in second phase counselling, they will have NO CLAIM on the earlier allotted seats

• The candidates will have to report to the allotted college before the final date. On failing to do so, the candidates will lose the seat of new as well as old college allotted

• In case the candidates wish to cancel their admission, they will have to contact the college principal

• The seats that remained vacant after GATE/ GPAT allotment will only be available for TS PGECET candidates

TS PGECET Counselling 2024

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) carries out separate counselling rounds for the candidates qualifying GATE and the TS PGECET exams. In order to be eligible for participating in the TS PGECET counselling process 2024, candidates must have qualified for either the GATE 2024 exam or the TS PGECET 2023 exam. Both GATE and TS PGECET qualified candidates will be allotted seats via the TS PGECET counselling process 2024. Candidates who have qualified the GATE 2023 exam will be given first priority in the TS PGECET counselling process 2024.

Note: Candidates who have qualified in GATE in 2023, 2022, and 2021 are also eligible for the TS PGECET counselling process 2024.

TS PGECET Seat Allotment 2024

Candidates will receive notification about the TS PGECET seat allotment 2024 through SMS on their registered mobile number once their seats are allotted. Candidates are required to report to the allotted institute with the provisional allotment letter and other necessary documents for verification. Candidates will be allotted seats based on the choices filled by them, the total number of seats available at the allotted institutes, etc.

Eligibility Criteria for TS PGECET 2024 Round 2 Counselling

There are a number of eligibility guidelines that candidates must comply with in order to be eligible for the TS PGECET round 2 counselling 2024. Candidates who are able to fulfil the eligibility criteria as mentioned below can participate in the TS PGECET counselling 2024 for round 2

• Candidates who have been allotted seats during the TS PGECET 2024 round 1 counselling but wish to opt for another institute
• Candidates who participated in the TS PGECET 2024 counselling round 1 but were not allotted any seats
• Candidates who did not take part in the TS PGECET counselling 2024 for round 1 who were called for the counselling
• Candidates who were allocated seats during the TS PGECET counselling 2024 round 1 but did not report to the allotted institute
• Candidates who were allocated seats during the TS PGECET 2024 counselling round 1 but they cancelled the admission
