UGC NET Political Science Exam Pattern 2024

  • Candidates will get two marks for each correct answer, and marks will not be deducted for any incorrect answer. 
  • There will be a total of 50 questions in Paper 1 and 100 in Paper II.
  • A total of 45,248 students appear for the UGC NET Political Science subject each year. Candidates must research important subjects like Public Administration, Indian Polity, Government Schemes, and democracy in order to win a seat. 
  • Both in 2020 and 2021, the cutoff percentage in the UGC NET Political Science was 60% and the cut-off marks were 134. However, the cutoff marks vary depending on the applicant category and the post you are seeking (assistant professor only, assistant professor and JRF, etc.).
