JEE Main 2025 Exam Date Session 1: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the JEE Main 2025 session 1 exam from January 22 to 31, 2025 and the JEE main admit card 2025 is scheduled to be released on January 19, 2025. However, the JEE Main city slip 2025 is expected to be released by the first week of January 2025. According to the official notification released by the NTA on October 28, 2025, the JEE Main Result 2025 will be released on February 12, 2025. Earlier, the JEE application form 2025 window closed on November 22, 2025, and the candidates were allowed to make corrections to their application form on November 26 & 27, 2025.
On the other hand, the JEE Main session 2 exam will be conducted from April 1 to 8, 2025 and the registration for session 2 will begin from January 31 to February 24, 2025. The JEE Main Hall ticket for the session 2 exam will be released three days before the exam day, i.e., March 29, 2025.

In how many shifts is the JEE Main exam conducted?
JEE Main exam is conducted in two shifts each day. The first shift is conducted from 9 am to 12 noon whereas the second shift is held from 3 pm to 5 pm. The exam is conducted over a period of 5-6 days. In total, the JEE Main exam has a total of 10-12 shifts per session. Candidates in each session get a different set of question paper. The paper will be of 3 hours duration.
How many times can one appear for JEE Mains?
Candidates can appear for a total 6 times in JEE Mains for three consecutive years. The number of attempts is calculated from the year of passing class 12. For example, if a candidate has qualified class 12 in 2023, he/she can appear in both attempts of 2023 as well of both attempts of JEE Main 2024 and 2025.
Is the JEE Main 2024 syllabus reduced?
Candidates appearing for the JEE Main 2024 exam must refer to the reduced syllabus of JEE Main exam for their preparation. Moreover, new topics have been introduced in Physics, whereas, no new topics have been added in the syllabus of Chemistry and Mathematics.
