Hi, I am planning to take admission in LPU. Is LPU as good as IIT?

Hi Akshita, Both LPU and IIT are good educational institutions. Lovely Professional University or LPU is a private university and IIT’s are government funded institutions. In terms of courses offered, LPU offers a wide range of courses in streams like engineering, management, pharmacy, science, law, design, commerce, etc. and IIT’s offer courses basically in engineering and IT streams. In the NIRF Ranking 2023 under the overall category, LPU is placed above IIT Jodhpur, IIT Patna, IIT Mandi, and IIT Bhubaneswar. So, we can conclude that LPU is as good as some IITs out of 23 IIT’s.
